The Pandaria reps? Farm the Zandalari Warscouts/Warmasters once your paladin hits 90 and roll in the rep charms. You can also champion a faction and get an extra like 750 rep or something from doing a daily heroic and scenario.

So I'm kinda throwin around the idea of resubbing. I stopped near the end of Cataclysm. Is WoW fun for semi-casual play at all? Or is it casual or hardcore playing only kind of thing? I'd pretty much be doing LFR things and whatever PUGs I could get into. Would I get burnt out on that or would lvling to 90 on 2 chars and LFRing be sufficient enough to entertain me for a while?
WoW has done nothing in Pandaria to mitigate the kind of burn out you probably felt in Cataclysm. It has introduced some new 'casual' content in the form of scenarios, farmville and Pokemon but those will not reward you with very good gear.
If your patience for PUGs is high Flex mode raiding and oQueue have taken a lot of the headaches out of finding a raid on your schedule, but LFR is even worse now than it was in Dragon Soul.
If you gear up on Timeless Isle (which I've found to be really fun) then you'll have a decent enough ilevel to do some fair dps. I don't really do LFR or Flex but you basically don't have to do the heroic grind to gear and it really didn't take me long to get a 520 ilvl just from that.
There isn't gonna be much by way of new content before the xpac though, so you may get bored/burnt quickly.
I guess I could just resub and unsub if/when I get bored... Anyone recommend a lvling guide?
?
From 85-90? Install oQueue and do dungeon runs until you're 88, then go kill worms on Timeless Isle is probably quickest. If you Theme Park it and go do every quest on Pandaria you'll stop having fun somewhere around Krasarang. 88-90 is brutal and there's no fun way do to those levels unless you like PvP and play an overpowered class.
Yeah Dread Wastes was the most painful leveling of all the zones in Pandaria, especially since you don't have flying and there's so much riding around large fucking mountains just to get to/from quest areas.
Worm killing on Timeless is great if you are on the dominant side, otherwise, you're better off elsewhere.
There's no 5 mans to lvl up in? Weird... Did they get rid of the 5 mans for lvling, then the heroic 5mans to start the gear grind?
There is a relative paucity of 85-89 dungeons in Pandaria, and some of them yield miniscule experience like Temple of the Jade Serpent. You'll get tired really quick of queueing unless you preform and land groups that can clear in less than 10 minutes.
Apparently oQueue doesn't exist anymore?
Oh gotcha. Now I just need to debate whether or not I want to buy MoP and resub lol. The free 10 day trial for my account wont let me level past 85, go figure![]()
So are the graphical updates confirmed for WoD or are they going to be a "patch" in WoD? I would assume they would be at launch just because of how big a project it is.
Which updates? The character models? Or were there other graphic updates that I was not aware of?
Looking for help with a solid mouse for playing wow, thanks in advance. Also havent played in forever was thinking if stating off as a rogue are they as good ad pre catacktsm, was thinkibg about dk too.
Been using a Steelseries Sensei. It's a decent size. Doesn't feel tiny in my hands like the Razer naga epic I had before.
logitech g700
I keep an extra one around cuz I can't even stand a day or 2 without it if something goes wrong.
I only have to replace about every other year.
Newest model is the g700s I believe.
That's the mouse I have and I like it a lot. Only complaint is that the battery life isn't tremendous (but then I don't turn it off ever...)
true, but that's the great part about being able to plug it in and use it as a wired
