I think you can technically start it with 2 people, but it's designed to adapt to between 10 and 25. It's not going to fill in the spots or anything tho, that's up to the raid leader. Loot drops work like LFR.

basically yes it's designed to be a first step for people without being quite so brainless as lfr; an undergeared mage with no buff can't stand in annihilates on flex garrosh... but with buff you can

I guess I need to hit up a flex run then. The one thing that always annoyed me was the whole "LFM 10man <raid> plz link achieve and gs!" I'm like, well fuck. I need the achv to do the raid, but I can't do the raid w/o the achv. Blargh

flex drops 540 gear

I haven't seen a flex run on openraid or oqueue that wasn't requiring 550+ other than the occasional wing 1 in like... forever.

Every once in a while I see them saying like 537 required, but very rarely and I'm too chickenshit to join a group when I don't know what I'm doing. I just don't wanna be that guy.

the part that's really sad tho... you can get a modified oqueue where you can set your ilvl and shit to whatever you want...

at 530 I have no problem matching what most 550-560 puggers put out, so they won't even notice if you're decent as long as they don't actually look lol

I was in a flex last night (yes, re-subbed, i hate life), and a lock with higher ilvl by 3 was doing 50k less than me on EVERY boss fight. I didnt wanna be a dick and be all "bro why you suck so hard" so i asked if that was an alt, or maybe fucking around with a new spec, or whatever. "this is my main, why?" ugh

what I'm getting to is, flex groups either want 540+, or some stupid 550+ BS with 14/14.... i really dont think i need all that, when the only person in that group pulling more dps than me once i learned the fights was a 562 huntard.

to be fair bandon, flex is the new LFR. on my new mage horde side i am in that same boat, beating everybody else except 555+ and im only 526, it's a sad state

Same problem as the people above me. Currently at 529 ilevel but should have my cloak soon. I'm constantly pumping out top 3 in LFR and would really like to try normals/flex but don't have a group to run with.

It's already been mentioned a few times, but are you familiar with oQueue, or—if you want something less spontaneous and more structured—OpenRaid?

I'm not sure we could coordinate this but I'd totally be down for a BG raid. I think I'm bad (but probably not as bad as I think I am) and I don't know any of the fights though Google could fix that, but it could be fun to try. Or maybe frustrating. Dunno.

if it was a flex run it'd be no problem, since everyone else would be able to carry you fairly easily

that link infuriates me. i join a flex raid where they bitch about my ilvl because i'm ~15-25 ilvl below the other dps, yet i come in second overall? gtfo

Wow SPriests are fucking fail right now. I've heard we fare better on mult-target but jesus.

Also yeah I'm not even coming close to that most of the time, then again I'm generally not raid buffed either but raid buffs aren't going to help that much.
