I did it regularly as a prot pally at level 80.

Seriously though, you should just spend some time figuring out what you're doing wrong in terms of damage. Those mobs are a couple hits these days. I was soloing 25 man level 80 stuff on my dk in the item levels you're talking about.

Well yeah obviously I'm doing something wrong, that's why I asked for help. Didn't need someone to come here and tell me I don't deserve a mount because I asked for some help. If I wanted that response, I would have posted on the WoW forums.

So I found out I'm going to be placed with my RL friend in a RPPVP server (his RL buddy's server, so he rolled onto that server, and then only when I looked did I find it was a RPPVP)

Just so I don't get in trouble or whatnot, because I heard/read there is RP police, is it true that:

1. If i interact with anyone, I MUST RP? (note: I don't intend to stay that long and I doubt these guys play as dedicated as I do)
2. If I don't join any guild, and just keep to myself, would I be required to RP? i.e. joining a pug
3. I'll be doing a DK naturally. Maybe a WAR but unlikely. Does that green flag me to be corrupt, evil, a (within RP reasons) dick?
4. Am I lumped in a RP battlegroup? So I gotta RP in BGs, dungeons, raid finder?

In fact you know what, typing this question out gave me several ideas on (bad) RPing lol

On a RPPvP server myself and i don't bother at all with any type of RP and have yet to have anyone complain even while pugging stuff so you should be fine but then again i think Defias Brotherhood is pretty dead RP wise so could just be that

Yeah I've got a few low levels on an RP realm and I've never seen anyone RP, I think as long as you're not a dick to RPers you should be fine.

Nope I don't intend to be a dick but just over exaggerate it massively to the point where real RPers would get embarassed. (see my above intended macros. in fact anything that is a cool down would have a macro appended to it bwahahahaha)

US ... I joined Scarlet Crusade for the Running of the Gnomes thing someone on the forums does every year for breast cancer awareness, and I made a few other low level toons on that realm and wrote up some backstories for them. I figure if I ever get the chance I might RP but I play them so infrequently and I'm not in a guild so I probably won't get the opportunity.

You'd be surprised how many bad RPs are out there who troll the serious RPers, you probably wouldn't be doing anything unique tbh. I have the MRP (My Role Play) addon and I've seen some seriously bad backstories that people put up. I think if I were going to legit try to RP it might annoy me but I'm kind of ambivalent either way.

I agree I won't be doing anything that's not done before. However maybe it's just the rush/excitement I am getting currently that's making me a bit hyper. It'll die off soon.

People will think you're serious and not say anything about how stupid you look lol.

You won't be in an rp battlegroup or anything.

The one thing you should know is if somebody talks to you in brackets (like this) [or like this] {or sometimes even like this}, it means they're a "serious" rp'er, and the brackets are to alert you that they're speaking out of character.

You will get groups in dungeon finder and shit that will notice you're from an rp server and troll you as well ;p

Besides only buttons with a cooldown of 30s or more will have some macro RP! bwahahaha.

Join Moon Guard RP server, best is joining RBGs/Arena and having people laugh going "lol MG is RP scrubs!" and then beating the shit out of them over and over again...then I go back to Goldshire and get my freak on!

Acki's Recipe List is the one I use. When you open up your profession there's a "scan" button up top that will show which ones you still need.

Anyways, enchant on heirlooms question
I read that MoP enchants will scale down on heirlooms depending on your char level
I have a question: won't some of these buffs make you incredibly overpowered in PvP? i.e. between levels 1-60, if you're at level 10 and Power Torr procs, increasing INT by 75 for 12 seconds, won't some attacks basically one shot you?

edit2: i crudely spelt it above, you all know what this is i suspect, it's an enchant in catalysm for casters

enchants scale by level entirely now, so you get way less at lower levels, but yes low level pvp is retardedly broken and there's not much reason to participate if you're not capable of 1 shotting most people

Just brought my DK a challenge mode run, was cheap I thought for the gold I've saved up (costed 90k) and no one else was offering on my server.

I tried to then do it on my paladin but got told I needed to be 90.... it's 85 lol

What's the absolute (besides questing/dungeoning as tank) fastest way to get to 90? I keep reading about pet battles but no one really explains what i have to do (in my desperate research)... all my pets are level 1

Then I read about timeless isle spamming on some easy mobs but again it's not specific if it's been fixed or patched etc.... looking for up to date current info

I need that gear for paladin....!!!
edit: i hate levelling... thought about buying draenor for the boost but it seems a waste for 85-90

It's kinda dangerous if you're bad at kiting or avoid level 90 mobs but it's really quick if there's no competition for pulls
