Yeah, old content is amazing injection of gold per week especially if you have a few friends to do DS25 HC with as well (Or use group finder/oqueue) currently my guild just schedule raids every week just to breeze through old content just to help people accumulate some extra gold ready for WoD. You are probably looking at 2k+ per week, not a lot but very casual friendly.

With high enough ilevel and some brains you can breeze through brawlers and make a good penny from doing the Card Collector achievement. You get 500-900g per win and they're all pretty easy. I think it also unlocks a daily as well that awards loads of gold per day? I'm not sure I pretty much left that place forever after achieving rank 10 and that achievement.

Besides MoP dailies and maybe rare farming on Timeless Isle that's it. There is the super grindy way which is to farm mobs with potions of luck and then just selling everything that drops but yeah..not a lot of gold there unless you farm for hours and hours, plus I am not sure about the market on MoP ingredients now WoD is a couple weeks away, I expect people have stopped buying that stuff now and saving up for WoD.

You can make around 1k gold per day doing MoP dailies. I absolutely hate dailies and would rather gouge my eyes out though but they're a great option.

Yes, I thought it was wrong at first, too. For some bizarre reason, the healer shoulders normally don't have pvp res (the other leather and cloth for sure does). So I think that's why they reduced the crit to give pvp resil.

I use CollectMe for mounts and pets. Though the ingame pet and mount page pretty much tells you where to get these things now.

My goldmaking methods were already mentioned. Soloing old raids is where it's at. Though really I'm doing them to farm mounts and the gold I get from the raids is kind of a consolation prize for the low drop rates. Keep about 40-50 slots open for stuff because even gray shit adds up.

Depends if you need gear and/or upgrades.

I spent a lot of them on weapons and trinkets on toons that didn't have them. Now that the Iron Horde quests are available I don't have to farm up coins for one of the trinkets anymore. There's also a mount for 100k coins and a pet.

If you don't need any of those then I don't know.

Ooh the mount. I don't have serpent riding since i find them ugly but it's another on the way to that 250 achievement mount. Only 200 more to go!

I heard they did away with the Serpent Riding requirement with 6.0, but I never cared enough to verify.

Googling it seems to corroborate though.

Does anyone horde side wanna do old raid achvs for mounts? Apparently some are unsoloable and I have no friends to play with :<

Weird.

Well, if you're pvping a lot, might as well go through with it. Neither is a meaningfull quantity, but resil does still function so you'd be making a slight gain.

If you're not pvping, probably wait til 81 and then do it, because the extra int will be worth it but not until, you know, it's actually there hehe.

Err... So am I missing something? I can't switch to 25 heroic ICC. Do I have to clear it all on 25player to be able to switch it to 25heroic? I cleared everything out on 10player normal, so I can only do 10 player heroic now? I can't change it to 25 heroic?

Yeah you need to clear it on 25 normal to do 25 heroic unfortunately.

Curious to see if anyone else has this problem or it's a 970 issue. I've never noticed it so maybe it's always been there. I run the game in full screen to take advantage of DSR and just noticed if I alt tab and come back to the game that my game micro stutters til I relog or change the resolution (to get a screen refresh). Now it's not SUPER noticable but now that I've seen it I can't unsee. I checked with my gf (who also upgraded to a 970) and she has the same issue, so I'm not sure if it's a 970 thing or just a general issue. Running in borderless window doesn't have any issue =/ but I like running with DSR.

Also a warning: I found that you can't do normal ICC10 until Sindra, then switch to ICC25 heroic.
Gotta ICC25 normal until Sindra, then switch to heroic if you want to farm ponies

Also I know it's so stupid and I figured out how to avoid it but fuck the Lich King's massive knockback move, got caught by that a few times before I figured it out.

edit: ok i see what i am doing wrong

you can't switch from 10m to 25hc instantly (outside)

gotta do 10m up to LK, then ZONE out, switch to 25m OUTSIDE, go in, THEN switch to heroic

What class are you and which do you think are unsoloable ? So far hubby's rogue has done 25 man Onyxia/Malygos/Kael'Thas/Sartharion just as an example.
Now I know the more recent raids can be tricky to solo - but most all old school including retuned ZA and ZG should be doable for most classes.

Youtube videos are very helpful with that too I have found when I am having trouble.

Yeah, the meta achvs for mounts. I can't solo portal jockey 25man as DK. There's a firelands one that you need 6 ppl minimum to do still. The guy that turns into the firecat thing. Apparently you can solo holding hands in dragonsoul, but I need to switch to unholy spec for that, which is no biggy. I can just hire a healer or 2 for portal jockey though I guess. I haven't looked into whether or not glory of the cataclysm raider is soloable or not.
