Yeah, the meta achvs for mounts. I can't solo portal jockey 25man as DK. There's a firelands one that you need 6 ppl minimum to do still. The guy that turns into the firecat thing. Apparently you can solo holding hands in dragonsoul, but I need to switch to unholy spec for that, which is no biggy. I can just hire a healer or 2 for portal jockey though I guess. I haven't looked into whether or not glory of the cataclysm raider is soloable or not.

That's what I get for replying when I wake up..I'm fucking stupid. Have you tried doing the pre-made group finder or starting your own ? Probably not the only one who wants them

Yeah that's up there with when a fucking paladin gets fucking mind controlled of all the fucking people in the god dammed raid and clears aggro from Kelthuzad costing you immortal. Fuck I'm still bitter.

edit: ok i see what i am doing wrong

you can't switch from 10m to 25hc instantly (outside)

gotta do 10m up to LK, then ZONE out, switch to 25m OUTSIDE, go in, THEN switch to heroic

Yeah this threw me off 1st time I had it happen lol

Only if you killed LK 25m (normal) first though

Otherwise, yes, clear 10m up to LK
Step outside
Switch to 25m
Step inside
Switch to heroic

It'll give you an error about the instance lock shit if you switch to 25m heroic outside and walk in.
Initially it threw me off but then confirmed to be fine today after I read up more on it.

Not sure what will happen if you go backwards though (switch from 25 heroic to 10m etc)

Profoundly dumb question i'm sure, but I haven't played in ages. If i leveled a toon for an opposing faction, would aquiring those mounts go toward my account total/allow me an easy way to get mount awards?

Nope. They're equivalent to the mounts from the opposite faction.

I have less on my Alliance toons in fact since I don't have the rep to have purchased them all.

Supposedly, SoO is not working properly and you can get items for the cloak from bosses that did not drop if you attempt the raid on another difficulty. No idea if anyone is still going for a cloak, but it might be worth a try.

Still need four secrets as of yet, I hope I'll be able to get them by the sixth boss of ToT, as unlikely as that may be. That being said, has anyone had any experiences with runestones having a slightly improved droprate? I do not intend to miss out on lore after switching mains, but I certainly am running a little low on time.

Oh that wasn't bubble, that was Hand of Sacrifice put on Kel'Thuzzad causing Fuuko to explode in a horrible display of bone and ligaments instantly.

I'm also not interested in that place (it's too big. I don't know it well enough to get to the last boss), I'll burn my lockout on a char and let you know.

Plan:

Go in 10m
Kill Leviathan
Kill one of the other 3 bosses in the corridor
Zone out
Switch 25
Zone in

If it works, I can kill the other 2 bosses on 25m
If it doesn't work, game will bitch at me to gtfo



outcome:

killed flame leviathan 10m
killed tall robot 10m
zoned out
switch to 25
zoned in
no complaints
killed the other flame dude 25m, got 3 drops, atlasloot confirms it's 25m drop

so yeh, it works. might as well clear everything until last boss

has anyone seen any theorycrafting on how long the legendary cloak will be BiS for classes? i'm guessing it will be BiS until the first raid, which drops 670 gear in heroic, would flex/lfr be better too even at their respective item levels?

It will probably be outclassed before the first raid (ie, dungeon heroics will be better than it). If not, then Blizzard fucked up.

i hope that's the case, because i want to play rogue but i dont want to finish my 4th cloak. heroic dungeons gear is only 630 at the moment, so it'd be kind of hard for the cape to be worse unless they change the proc somehow i believe

They can scale the proc rate pretty easily, and should if it turns out to be better at 100 than 630 items.

It's about equal to heroic dungeon gear which is 630.

The third stat makes it roughly equal to 615 or so without the proc, and the proc is still decent.

Will be replaced by anything LFR or better.
