90% of the time I'm in Hellfire, Alliance is plotting in /1 to burn Thrallmar to the ground![]()
I remember once in BG on Azshara, a bunch of us kited that elite Pit Lord outside the dark portal right up to the top of the tower in HH. Shit was hilariously cash.
Just respecced both my feral and my resto specs (mainly to get rid of Revitalize, grab Nature's Splendor, and some other small stuff), and afterwards found my feral to sit at about 3,000 more mana in the same gear. After some gear swapping, it would seem that my feral spec is sitting at about 40 more intellect in feral gear, and a whole 110 extra intellect in my restoration gear (though still on feral spec).
What gives??? I thought the Furor boost to intellect was only applicable in Boomkin form? Am I being a nub and missing something? (Most likely scenario.)
The only time I saw Hellfire under constant attack was just after WotLK came out and raiding guilds were plowing their first DK alts through the zone. The massacre didn't last more than a week or two. Since then folks have realized what a hassle it is to go all the way to hellfire to kill NPCs.
Warrior leveling (currently 36)... Arms or Fury?
NOTE: I have BOA 2H Axe, and both BOA 1H swords (one has chance to hit twice)... all have crusader enchants.
Everywhere I reads says something along the lines of; fury fury fury fury... but then when I talk to other people, or see anything related to the BOA 2hander, everyone says arms. It's pretty much a 50/50 split depending on who I talk to.
There is the "Fury with a 2h to 40, then MS Arms till later"
or the "Fury 40+ for less downtime, with bloodthirst glyphs lots of health back"
There is a chance I'll be meeting up with a Ret pally at 41 to level the rest of the way with... in this case, i'm assuming arms absolutely since we will 2shot everything.
Either way, after all is said and done... when I reach 60, which spec? Is TG still the way to go in terms of leveling speed after the nerfs?
Arms all the way, IMO. My warrior is 65 and my rotation is: Charge -> rend -> MS -> overpower (rend tick procs it) -> dead or almost dead -> MS -> dead. So it takes 5-6s to kill any normal mob.
That sounds pretty good, especially if I level with the ret pally.
Sigh, now the other question is whether or not to go to atlantic city and go play poker today. gdi.
Do you lose lots of money usually? If so, don't go. Otherwise? Go for it. If you break even or make money it sounds like a good idea![]()
On Mimiron Phase4:
As a Fire mage, I've been making an effort to put my Living Bomb on the center section as opposed to "whichever I'm Dpsing at the time" so that it will explode and hit all 3 sections. It's been too hectic to test/notice, but I assume a LB on the Head or Base will only hit 2 sections on the explosion? Anyone know for sure?
Someone was talking about how someone doud Flame Leviathen, and that they had a high iLvl? What is an iLvl?
iLvl = Item level.
To further expand, every single item has a designated item level. This gives it a certain amount of stats to be spread around within it's budget, stopping items from being grossly overpowered in comparison to others. As a rule of thumb, the more types of stats than an item has on it, the better it is. As one stat gets higher, it costs more and more of the items budget. This is one of the reasons that Warriors wear leather, because Plate generally only has four stats whereas Leather has five, making it artificially better.
Of course, one of the problems WoW has created for itself now is that vehicle stats are based off information that isn't made available to Addonless Joe.
This is for the people who have done Firefighter on 10man. Do you use 3 or 4 healers? The damage coming out seems so intense and with 3 healers we still were manage to get P1 down very fast. Also, do you eat the water bombs in P2 or veer away from them and relocate onto the doused spot? And also in P3, do you have ranged killing bomb bots? We used to cheese it and have a pet take the hit while it was rooted but with all the doomfire I don't think we can do that. Lastly, do you leave the water bots out or kill them?
Depending on if a section is baby spiced, it should just hit the top/mid or mid/bottom. The AoE damage radius on LB is is 10 yards, and not affected by any talents, so from looking at the boss its just two sections.
Personally, I'd just make a focus LB macro for phase 4, that way you can mindlessly DPS the head >_>.
Another mage Q:
The World of Warcraft Armory
There's my mage currently, raiding as arcane. Am i missing anything major gear wise? Like is there a glaring oversight im missing? my dps is hovering around 2800, 3k if i really push hard. I just feel like i'm not doing enough dps. I know the blade has to go, but i'm not seeing a worthwhile upgrade, unless KT drops his dagger on normal. Should i be going for any of the t7? or just skip it and continue working on t8?
(and yeah i know i'm 89 points over hit cap atm, but like i said; I see zero upgrades outside of uld or 25 man naxx, but finding a pug group for that is rough here).
Edit: My single target rotation is arcane blastx3 > arcane barrage, replaced with missles if proc is up.
