I did feral after rogue... was pretty easy, maybe easier.

No blind, no sap, no vanish = I die a lot more levelling feral than rogue, by a considerable margin. I also miss having two weapons.

Yet you can heal after every fight, LOTP heals you, shadowmeld takes you out of combat to save your ass, you have roots, hibernate, grasp of nature for "oh shit" root moments, stealth, bear form, and a normal 30% run speed. You can outrun mobs most of the time, especially with dash up. Leveling as feral was such a joke

Short and simple: have any of you ever been disconnected (note: not crashed out/frozen due to gpu overload, it actually boots me to login saying 'You have been disconnected from server') due to too many effects on screen?

I keep disconnecting every raid boss. But it only happens on the bosses in uld; trash (which has way more spell effect nonsense going I think), VoA, and 5man stuff is fine, and it didn't happen in the 10 naxx runs I've gone on. I would think if it was effects overload I'd get the same thing from any number of those.

I'm replacing my router since mine is a pos anyway, but just wondering if this could really be my problem like some guild folks claim...it just doesn't jive in my head.

I've had it happen a few times in wintergrasp but we had like...tenacity 5, and were attacking, and it only happened in the inner courtyard. We were already lagging like 1500ms everywhere on the map. Don't really think that's spell effect related lol.

it always happens when i use that fireball thingy, and all over the map not just fortress. also dc a lot the same way in BGs when theres a shit ton of mirror images firing off frostbolts i just run from other mages now lol

I'll sometimes DC like that, not always when there's a lot of graphics though, more like a lot of things happening at once. I found it was my addons that are constantly parsing things were hammering my PC, if it's happening too frequent I disable cartographer/omen/recount and it fixes the majority of it.

I have a feeling it's a cpu/ram overload thing.

Anyone on the forums looking to help out a BG-nub?

I just went to reactivate my 47sh Rogue today, only to find out that my account was hacked and my character was transferred to another server, sold, and then banned. All within 2 months, wtf. I decided to just reactivate the account that my little brother used before he got bored with the game.

Anyways, I'm just here to ask if anyone would be willing to help out a noob (horde side, preferably). I'm pretty new to the game, and I'm pretty set on rolling a Feral Druid. Not asking you to hold my hand, (although a couple bags would be nice!) just looking for a cool server to chill on and some cool peeps to hang with once I reach the level cap. I won't bother you for much besides some random questions here and there... promise

I've got a few questions here, with Kgpanels i have one layout for my rogue and a different one on my priest. How do I make it automatically change layouts when i login to one of my characters? Right now, I have to manually go into it and load that layout. Also, with Recount, is it possible to make 2 profiles and have them in different locations and when I pick my character (rogue or priest) it goes to the right spot where i want them? IE: I'll have recount on the left on my rogue and right on my priest. I want it to automatically load my profile when I log into my character
