Big bang is physical
well shit i overlooked that. Yep gogo druid then.
On a 90 second cooldown a DK will only be able to tank that before 3.2. After 3.2 DK isn't really an unstoppable force anymore with nearly 20% uptime on a ~50% damage reduction ability. So there'd be a 30 second window for the DK to possibly be owned. Even with T8 bonus AMS won't be enough alone after 3.2.
I can confirm that 4pc T8 bonus AMS alone is not enough even now by itself. I tried it during our first attempts.
I'm working for an offspec to have some fun Soloing some elites or old instances, anyone already did this on his/her Paladin?
I know Protection is the way to go, but I was wondering if I'd set for the usual talents, stacking defense until cap, block and so on.
Any hint appreciated :D
Shadow Priest with Dispersion works wonders.
A ret pally friend can't get past 1500 DPS on bosses anymore. He used to be one of the top DPSes in our guild. What gives? He says they nerfed pally somehow? Idk, I'm not a pally, so have no clue what's going on.
I'll try to prod him today. Whenever I've tried asking specifically what was changed, he just goes on a tirade about how Blizzard made his job useless, idk. It's apparently just an issue with bosses, though.
it's just an issue with him.
Our ret pally did great dps for a while, then dropped to sub 2k when everyone was doing 3k-4k. We asked him why, he said he didnt know. Turns out he had his rotation backwards, not sure how he ended up doing that, ret pally is 3 buttons. After a couple months he did it again, dropped way low. This time we figured its cause he didnt care anymore. And thats what it was.
Maximizing your DPS as Ret in raids isn't quite as faceroll as people make out. Granted, we're not talking Cat rotations here but you have to know the hierarchy of attacks and whether to hit the button or wait a split second for something to come off cooldown.
Well, we're still talking the same raid bosses (Naxx10, OS, VoA). He says that all of a sudden he's seeing tons of Immune messages. And his DPS definitely dropped a ton on my Recount. His exact words were, "whenever I do regular hits/crusader strike/divine storm(my melee attacks that get the added seal damage)."
So currently my Priest has 450 Herbalism/Tailoring. My Druid has 450 Alchemy and I recently picked up Herbalism on her to power-level up this week, since flight form is teh awesome for gathering. Now I'm torn with what to do with my Priest's other profession once my Druid's herbing hits 450. Thinking either Inscription or Jewelcrafting. Any opinion on which would be better?
Depends on what you want out of your professions.
At the moment, Jewelcrafting is a better 'min/max' profession as you can get socket bonuses and meta-gem activation without using 'crappy' gems. However, once they change dragon's eyes to be non-prismatic you will have about the same bonus from either profession, if you're going for pure spell power. If you want a bonus to something besides purely spell power, JC wins on flexibility. If you haven't gotten exalted with Sons of Hodir, Inscription wins on convenience.
Also, levelling your druid's herbalism and your priest's Inscription simultaneously will have a bit of a nice synergy, wheras levelling JC without mining is pretty much a pure money-dump.
I had similiar issues after 3.1
All I can say is that could be from being capped or not on Expertise. The usual trend for retri is to stack STR once HitR is capped and let Expertise come with gear, but since 3.1 I couldnt get over 3100 dps with my very low Exp value. Dropped Retri for Holy since long so I never really checked this out, sorry.
Link his armory.
1300 Gold a good deal for these?
