I think they are near BIS for feral (at least from tank perspective) I haven't logged on druid at all recently though.
they go for 2-3k on my server, grab them.

Where is a good talent build/level website? Everything I've found has stuff for 60/70/80, but not for builds as you level.
Also, I'm a lock... anyone have advice on talent builds for me? it seems as though WoW is much more forgiving, and there isn't a 'BEST' way everytime... right now I'm affliction b/c I was told it is good for leveling, but when should I switch? and to what? and why?
anyone wanna take a shot at helping out a new guy?
currently 48 if that matters
Deep Affliction works fine for levelling and instancing through 80, so you shouldn't worry too hard about switching around until you get serious about heroics/raiding, at which point you can just use the cookie-cutter builds you find lying around on the internet.
At your level Aff is great for leveling in that it has little down time and good health/mana efficiency. Demo is also a good leveling spec, if you are more in the mood to send pet~> DoT~>afk each fight. Both will carry you through to 80. Destro can put up BIG numbers and quick kills, but you will find your self needing to bandage/drink too often.
Lock leveling is easiest to go affliction until you get to the level where you can respec to have improved soul drain 2/2 + Felguard. Once you unlock Felguard go back to putting points into affliction. Obviously don't waste any points on talents that affect pets other than Felguard because he is the best for leveling hands down and all you will use once you get him. If you care about speed more than ease I don't know whether afflic versus demo really makes much of a difference.
What do you guys think about raid "stealing", If you get invited to a pug raid on lets say friday, You down one boss, Flame Leviathan and thats it raid leader disappears after a few whipes on razorscale and xt. Other members say we will try and pick it back up next day. Next thing its monday night, server reset next day, would you go back in with a group of friends?
I checked for the raid leader before goin in, to see if he was online and maybe join us, and no other bosses had been taken down.
Unless the original raid group planned on resuming the run, I say the lockout belongs to you just as much as the old raid leader. Take that shit.
Thats what I figure, I mean gave him enough time to get on it. Figured it was last night before reset, might as well see what we could do.
We are basically naxx 10 geared with a few 213 pieces, razorscale and xt took a while but we arent quitters. It was fun.
If a leader fails at pugging and leading a group that can get shit done, they deserve to have their lockout 'stolen.'
But that's just like, my opinion, man.
edit: Chances are, the leader only really cared about trying for (x-item) off of FL anyways.
Class question, I did fury for a while, switched to arms with poleaxe specialization. So the buff applys to axes and polearms only, So if I get lets say Aesirs edge which is a 2handed swrd would it be best to switch to sword specialization.
Im thinking it be best just to go back to fury, but opinions are welcomed.
Yes switch to sword spec.
but swrd spec is so lame right now, 1% you might get extra hit on mob
5% with an internal cooldown.
It's 1% per point, 5% for maxing it out, and it adds up, particularly when you account for proc effects as well. It also has an accelerating effect the better your gear gets (since more hits at higher gear-driven dps = higher dps gains), where 5% crit from poleaxe gets worse with gear (40 -> 45% is a bigger jump than 45 -> 50%).
So I'm being tried out by the top guild on the server tonight, and they are doing Hard mode General and Yogg+2-3 tonight.
Halp.
I've only done general and yogg on 10man, and never downed yogg normal. Anything special for a melee on these 2 fights that I need to know about that is much different from normal mode?
I know all dps except interrupts are supposed to switch to animus. Hopefully since they all outgear me for the most part, that they will keep me on kick duty. If not, it's just run over and kill it, then go back to general right? Is general's cast time any different in 25man than in 10man? In 10man I can kick every single searing flames.
As far as yogg.... wtf lol. It's pretty much the same as in 10man normal just less damage and all the buffs from the keepers right? So dont touch clouds, kill tentacles, jump in portal etc etc?
I want to make a good impression, these 2 fights are the worst for me to do so on dps wise lol, but if I do them well than thats all that matters.
You will probably have a 2-person rotation for kicking the General.I know all dps except interrupts are supposed to switch to animus. Same as in 10-man, except since there is more going on there may be further organization to make sure the cats are all being herded in the same direction. Typical "advanced" strategies include:As far as yogg.... wtf lol. It's pretty much the same as in 10man normal just less damage and all the buffs from the keepers right? So dont touch clouds, kill tentacles, jump in portal etc etc?
* setting up kick orders for the adds in phase 1 (so that multiple can be spawned without the AoE going off)
* it would also help to feint before every single explosion, or run away if you have Sara's Fervor
* in phase 2, there may be portal assignments and brain room direction assignments. Without Freya it is very important to keep your sanity, so stay away from people with Malady, etc.
Good luck.
Appreciate the help, thank you. I was hoping they would bring me in for an encounter like XT or something where I can show that I put out decent dps despite not already being in their guild. But since they are doing the last 2 bosses and hard modes, it's all about knowing what to do and executing in order to impress them.
I used to be in a top guild with server first illidan and kalecgos on horde side in tbc, so I'm used to that type of play. It's just a lot different being on rogue with so much competition, considering I was a tank back then.
You should be grateful to be in a guild that actually knows how to test a new rogue. XT is brain dead compared to what you have to do on Ulduar Bosses where what you succeed or do not succeed to do can wipe the raid. Sounds like a dream guild.
Poleaxe spec is really nice though, 5% critical strike damage bonus is good and only gets better with gear. The point of sword spec is there isn't anywhere else to put those points so you put them in a weapon specialization.
