My guild lacks healers, so I'm gearing up my priest as a replacement. I haven't done anything important with it, yet.
Is Greater Heal worth using for either Disc or Holy? I used it 70, but Disc has Improved Flash Heal and Holy has Serendipity (both combined with the glyph) now. Is there any reason to use Greater over Flash or other heals now?
Gheal is still the highest throughput heal outside of penance. I never use it as disc, and as holy you use it only for tank healing which you'll rarely be assigned to do as holy. More likely you'll be sitting on x3 charges of serendipty doing some raid healing, see the tank dip and save him with a gheal.

This is your basic holy build, there are two spare points you can spend in either holy reach or test of faith, I prefer holy reach. I also am always disc whenever I am healing so ymmv.
That's a good build for Heroics and perhaps 10 mans, but in raids where you Gheal much less you want Test of Faith and Surge of Light. I'd personally go for some like this if you're doing 25 mans and have dedicated tank healers.
Oh wow when did that surge of light change go in. I haven't even read the talent since 2.0. I suppose I can't fathom speccing in a manner where I don't have the option of saving the day on the tank with gheal spam.
Flash Heal is really efficient now and the truth if you just don't tank heal enough in 25s as Holy anymore to justify 10-13 points on Gheal talents, when you can maximize your AoE healign abilities with such goodies as ToF, BR, etc etc. Surge of Light is really nice for the Holy Concentration procs too.
Is there anyone on the PTR or anyone know for sure if all mounts in 3.2 are going to be discounted by faction rep? Or is it only the 5 home cities mounts that will be seeing price cuts? I don't think i ever heard a for sure either way.

That's pretty much your cookie-cutter Disc PvE spec. I've messed around with some weird hybrids (to bump up my Renew, and to get Improved Healing to help with mana costs), but I really think this spec *does* work the best.
As for where to plug in your points in the Holy tree... really up to you. I'm thinking of leaving my 5 points in Divine Fury though, particularly because of the change in recast for Penance that's currently on the PTR. I've gotten into the habit of tossing out a quick PW:S for Borrowed Time before I cast a Greater Heal (on the rare occasions I use it- normally it'll be Penance+Flash Heal spam til Penance is up again for spammy damage stuff), so I actually value those few extra seconds saved. Odds are if you're planning on raiding, there's going to be a Holy Priest in there whose Renews will be stronger than yours anyway, so I aim to be able to cast my shit as fast as I can.
I'd say not to waste points in Spell Warding though- it's not really worth it. Imp Renew/Healing Focus would be the other decent choice besides Divine Fury, just depends on really how your play style is.
would like to level a true pew pew Alt, I mean a class that could solo a lot of group quests and, overall, take on elites without too much worries, gear/enchants/food provided.
so what should I chose?
a few people pointed me to DK, but what else?
I remember Feral druid and BM hunter to be quite a powerhouse, but i know nothing of mages, priest, rogues, etc...
Hunters, Warlocks and Paladins are best at soloing group quests and elites. Of those I personally enjoy Warlock the most.
Feral probably the best post 3.2 with the heirloom staff.
Okay, now that my druid is quickly approaching 80, I'd like to work on what is my long-awaited goal for her- to get her the Guardian of Cenarius title.
What's the easiest/fastest way to level Cenarion Expedition rep nowadays? I never did SSC (on either toon) so I know nothing about the prereqs for Coilfang Armaments (I think they involve going into SSC? No idea). :< Are BC Heroics the way to go for that? Or Nesingwary Ear turn-ins nowadays? Preferably I'd like an option that doesn't involve me having to bug my friends to come along and help :< but I have a feeling that option doesn't exist. I did everything I could with the plants and crap when I was levelling in Zangarmarsh, btw. I'm just about a 1/3 into Honored with them atm.
(Not so worried about Cenarion Circle rep, I have a fairly good notion of how to get that up, particularly since I have done zero quests out in Silithus yet, and I'm already at friendly with them thanks to being a Druid and doing random Druid shit.)
If you're already Honored then go farm ears, those mobs respawn really quick.
So I don't do BGs and stuff, or really play all that often, but I find when I am questing pretty much anyone who attacks me has a 90% chance of winning. If my pet doesn't play nice and stun a rogue he can kill me before cheap shot or whatever wears off. What is a Lock to do beside DoT, death coil, spam healing item, and flail around like a retard?
Gank first or be ganked.
Greater Heal just isn't worth it for Disc at all imo, and a lot of disc builds have 5/5 Divine Fury for reasons I don't understand. Maybe it's just me healing as a disc priest, but I never use Greater Heal, because Flash Heal is just better. I think there was a period where in 4 weeks of raiding I used Greater Heal like 3 times. Flash Heal gets more benefit from talents, is more mana efficient, and the points are just better spent elsewhere imo.
Reccomendation for 2nd prof for a feral druid? Already doing BS.
