For me with ~2500 spell power my WE hits for 1350-1380. If I drop off my Dragon soul + Brood mother stacks (2150 sp) he drops to 1230-1250.
edit: This is during a single summoning, You see the change happen immediately, and it can be reproduced the other way around (such as getting a SP proc while the WE is out will cause his bolts to do more damage)
anyone know of an addon that stop pet talents from resetting when you switch from BM spec to another spec? D:
Dismiss your pet before you switch, unless you have the +4 extra skills, then it's going to reset regardless.
Nope, you could get another pet of the same type and just call beast when you want to switch.. But it's going to reset if you have the +4 talent.
Don't you usually want to use a spirit beast as BM?
I use 3 atm (haven't gotten tank pet yet), one is for MM one is for BM (soloing) one is for pvp (using bm spec). Wasn't really an issue with doing instances n' stuff, but since hitting 60 my group and I are doing quests which I found BM is a little bit easier to use.
But it's irritating cause If I forget to desummon them before switching at the stables, it'll reset the abilities. also sometimes while we're questing if we end up doing a group quest, I'd rather being in mm spec (even if using the bm pet), but that would require running back to a town to switch.
It's not the end of the world or anything, but it is irritating at times, and if they had some addon to fix it would be a nice bonus to have.
There isn't something to fix, you take a talent that gives you +4 skill points, that you lose when you switch. Theres no way to tell which skills you used those +4 points on so they have to reset it..
Do you need to be a crusader to do the new instance?
i love it

anyone know why the fields of valor booster packs for the TCG arent around yet? I'd like to get my hands on the chicken mount.
Question: I got a Gnome Warrior that I want to make as a tank (missing my taru paladin from FF) would it be viable to level is as prot spec or should I go with arms till 40 or so. Any advice would be great, thanks.
