From what I understand Unholy is the best for leveling with but I had a good time with Blood. Either can solo elites/group Q's with relative ease so tbh just go with whatever you want.

Unholy will technically give a more efficient grind, as you have both a superghoul to take hits for you and the ability to spread your diseases around multiple targets more effectively (and your diseases are more powerful on the whole). Blood improves more of the physical aspect of your dps so it makes for strong single-target work. Neither is a bad option but like any pet class Unholy will probably be less downtime in the long run.
I leveled unholy twice and never regretted a minute of it. Having a glyphed out ghoul is fantastic. Any time i pulled more than i could handle, i'd sic my ghoul at it and he'd tank like a champ. Does great dps too. 2/2 "on a pale horse" is great for getting around quicker, which equates to faster leveling. (get rid of it at 80, though). Bone shield is fantastic too, it'll help you take on much bigger mobs with less downtime. I think there were...2 group quests i could'nt solo my whole way to 80, maybe 3.
Just remember for the group quests, or taking on any tough elite, icy touch, plage strike, then spam the hell out of death strike. Repeat the process when your diseases fade.

that's my armory if you want to see about what talents you want to shoot for. The first or left spec is the one, the 2nd spec or right one is my bastardized unholy tank tree, so ignore that one.
I leveled unholy on beta, and unholy on live. It probably wasn't the wisest decision on beta due to the way talents were, but now there is really no reason not to. Unholy Aura (+15% movement) and On A Pale Horse (+20% mounted speed) are absolutely clutch to shaving time off leveling.
If you're up to it and want to drop money on dual spec, go blood solo spec for your secondary spec. Something like this - http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#j0eMq...hhxZ0gh:iLGm0V
Its a bit of a bastard spec and something you wouldn't use for anything at 80 outside of soloing elites.
Is latency more server or user related. This past few days I have been getting crazy latency 3k+
Server mostly, but if your bandwidth is being hogged by torrents or d/ls then your latency will get fucked.
Has anyone tried a lower level druid healer, I want to do some healing in 30's bg's. I don't really know if resto is good enough at these levels as feral has a 2pt talent that increases healing by 70% of my agi which would be around +70 healing which seems to be fairly significant and it would be cool to keep feral talents for defending myself when I get attacked.
Unholy had 4 diseases in beta, so it was a good choice back then since Unholy Blight was basically doing 60% more damage from crypt fever and the way death strike scaled. I remember soloing groups of the elite earth giants in nw Hellfire with it and duoing ramps and furnace.
I think the only thing frost had leveling was machinegun IT that would crit for 6-8k.
Alright, so yesterday with first day as a tree was fairly successful. I got the hang of things after a few games, and my rogue partner and I had about a 70% win rate. Not too shabby for first day as resto.
Any tips for my gearing/talents?
I realize wild growth was a mistake now, and I'm a little over hit cap (I didnt realize I had that PVE neck, and the other PVE neck I had was a lot worse) and im working on getting more furious gear. But anything aside from that?
My strategy is mainly to roll rejuv on me and the rogue, using lifebloom on whomever is getting hit, and if they get hit hard, i'll swift mend. I use nature's swiftness (with healing touch) in wtf moments. and sometimes throw regrowths or nurtures in.
Also I use cyclones and roots to help out on the CC, save barkskin for getting hit or innervate, and I try to stay in tree form (havent had to use travel form much just yet)
Is haste rating important? Do I need more spellpower/a talent revamp? I tried to copy what the high rating resto/rogue teams were gearing for and gemming for.
Also, what types of keybinds are best for healers/twos and what are some good UI optionsI made due, but I feel it could go alot smoother.
Yogg 25, how do you guys handle phase 3? It seems we are getting overwhelmed by the adds, yet it could be a problem with our non-brain dps not being high enough from phase 2-3. Into week 3 right now with Yogg.
Other questions :
- How many clouds do you guys pop on P1? (At start)
- Do you guys go with 8dps / 2heals inside the brain room?
- Why some people in my guild fail so much on that fight? (I have no more question but I had the "-" up so I had to write something right?)
Thank you.
pop 0 clouds extra, unless its by accident, we do 10 dps in brain room and take him down in 2 phases or we wipe it usually.
I have this bug with flightmasters, hoping someone can help.
Whenever I have a quest to turn in or accept at the flightmaster, and I click on him, the quest box/chat pops up then immediately turns into flight path selection and I can not turn in quests.
I can only accept/turn in the quest at the flightmaster if I turn all of my addons off, I have no idea which one is causing it and run to many to try 1 by 1. Anyone ever have this problem?
Sounds like an addon that skips fluff text or something, Automaton is a common one that does that sort of thing...if you have anything that automates menial tasks or interfaces with flightmasters you might check those first
minimalist maybe, thanks i'll try that.
yeah think that was it, it had an autoflightpath thing, thanks.
