How important is capping exp and hit as a tank? I had 8exp and like 6% hit on general vazex for 10man and I was usin up all my healers Mp way too fast, was I parry hasting myself to death?

What little advice i have on tanking as DK is, get that dodge rating up as sky high as you can (while keeping the def softcap of course). What's your parry at?
exp and hit is mostly for threat generation, so if you're a MP sponge you need to relook at your gear and boost that dodge, since we're avoidance tanks. Also, are you blood spec? Frost and unholy have better mitigation tools, so you might consider looking those over.
Blood is my DPS, frost is my Tank. I have 28.32% with horn up and I have a few new leg pieces to choose from so it might be abit higher.
Make sure demo/weakness is put on him, it makes a difference.
I generally have a rotation of cds I pop to make sure I'm not draining healer mana too much. It nets me roughly 35-34% to be hit with some luck.
Heart of Iron -> Furnace Stone -> Vamp Blood.
Depending on what you have to work with you could do the same.
I have roughly 32% dodge and 23% parry with my set up as Blood tanking. I'm above softcap on expertise (9.00%), still can be parried tho.
What is his average hit on you?
sidenote: I'm from swfl too.
Tanking Vezax as anything but Blood is a baaad idea. Death Strike and Rune Tap self-heals will generate well over 1100-1200 HPS on you if your healers know what they're doing; we've gotten to the point in 10s where my s.priest friend is the only person healing me throughout the entire hard mode and we'll end the fight with plenty of MP left.
Getting back 15% of your health every time you DS is just way too broken for that fight.
So I was bored and checked out the emblem dooders and it turns out they have some nifty stuff lol. So yeah I upgraded some slots so it's a wee bit better... But I'm not specced for blood tanking, just blood DPS and my dual spec is frost for tanking... is there a talent tree that would show the best spec for blood tanking? In my tank setup, I only have like 8 exp and 6% hit or something bad like that.
I'm trying to get my stolen account back and I had a 70 Warlock on a PvE server, is Warlock still pretty good?
warlock is pretty much broken, not as broken as feral droods tho
Something like this.
Granted, I put it together based on some assumptions about your raiding environment. If you dont need the extra heal (most do) you can clear out rune tap and put points into DRM or Sudden Doom. If the extra 6% melee slow is being provided elsewhere for you, you can drop IIT and get Necrosis or any other flavor talents that suit your need.
Well now that 3.2 is around... Does anything change for DK tanking?
It got alot harder with the frost presence nerf.
This is my first patch... do I have to completely re-do my UI, or is there a way to use my old settings?
Has XT hardmode been ninja-buffed? mmo-champ people are saying all 4 corners of the rooms spawn adds no matter what now, and more than ever before. My guild is finally at a point where we could kill him on hardmode, but now with the buffs i'm not so certain.
We did XT hardmode in 10 man Ulduar.
I can confirm that mobs spawned A) from piles right next to XT when tanked on one side (although much less than came from the far sides) and B) alot more of them. We killed the heart with about 15% left on the cast, and had a veritable army of mobs charging at us from the other end. It was a bit hectic to count them but it was at least 8-10 bomb bots, 20 or more scrap bots, and 2 assault bots. Horrifying, but a chain-reaction on the bomb bots cleaned it up for the most part.
Anyone feel like expaining Ret seals now? I know SoV on bosses but SoR or SoC for PvP, dailys, anything not bosses.
I was wondering if SoV also makes the 33% weapon dmg bonus count as physical dmg. I know the DoT is now phys dmg, making ArP a tad better, but the damage done when using SoV will be coming from the 33% bonus dmg <_<; so unless they changed that to phys dmg as well, ArP is still one of the worst stats for ret pallies.
(for falaras: SoC>SoR but costs a talent. Can't say much for lv80 atm since I had to reroll and am only lv31 atm, but for me SoC has a 58-71addition dmg proc and 56-63 judge dmg VS SoR's 27 additional dmg proc and 65dmg judges)
why is it that when theres is a patch in ffxi you get a nice list of what new items we can look foward to, but for wow its a day later and the sites dont know jack
Mmo-champion has the loot list...
Do: exp bonus from heirloom shoulders and body stack?
Do: Abyssal Rune and Sundial of the Exiled procs stack?
gut instinct is A: yes B: no but not sure D:
