The items are nothing but IDs until it drops on a server in WoW. When the first one drops, it is available for viewing on said server and allows sites to retrieve the information (when you click it's name it is downloaded to your client and you will be able to view it). It's because Blizzard know how to prevent .DAT mining from ruining surprises, while SE is a group of console programmers who are used to not having to do anything out of the ordinary to prevent it, since 99.9% of the players aren't too keen on taking a screwdriver to a console just to find out what new items were added in the latest patch. Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm no Ragns.
(edit: mmo-champ's loot list only has the items that dropped during PTR testing afaik)
anyone have a rundown on how the mounted fight works in the new 5 man? We wiped at the tail end, but they kept getting back up. somehow, after we wiped they were dismounted. Anyone have a strat for this?
When you 'kill' them on their mounts they fall to the ground and gain a debuff called 'trampled' which stuns them but does no damage. This debuff can wear off at which point they get up and go for one of the mounts on the edges of the arena. You have to keep running over the dismounted heroes to keep them from remounting.
Aand of course make sure no retards are standing near them, without proper weapons equipped, once they're all dismounted and the actual fight begins.
oooooooh ok. tbh it was so hectic going in blind we totally missed that. Thanks![]()
Anyone else having their flyer strafe after they mount? Mine will occasionally pick a direction and start moving without me pressing anything after i take to the air.
!
also, this happened to me too after getting dced in wintergrasp, my bear wouldnt go to the right only to the left. logging off and on again fixes it thoughAnyone else having their flyer strafe after they mount? Mine will occasionally pick a direction and start moving without me pressing anything after i take to the air.
With the new MS type abilites priest and mage have, does anyone know if all 3 stack? Actually, what I'm mostly concerned with is if the mage/priest debuffs stack.
Broken as in over powered methinks he means.
Sweet
To anyone that runs Xloot:
Is there any way to disable being able to open up the options by accidentally right-clicking on the loot? I often try to loot too quickly and open up all the menus, and it gets really frustrating.
Did they implement the 3day char transfer cooldown yet?
I guess this is more newb than random, but here goes anyway. How do professions work in WoW? I just started out and I've been doing mining/skinning as I'm told its the way to go for leveling, and I'm making pretty good money. My question though is I know WoW doesn't operate on a synth system like FFXI, so how does profit come about in non-gathering professions? I'm used to making all my money off of a random number generator with HQs in FFXI, which obviously doesn't apply to WoW crafting. Are their just certain synths in WoW that are profitable just buying them off the AH and crafting it, or do people make their money off of tips? Or is it just not profitable at all, and people level professions solely for the bonuses they give for having them leveled?
I'd really like to level a non-gathering profession eventually, but at the same time I don't want to get stuck with something that won't be able to make me gold. I'm just looking for a general answer here on how professions factor into the gold making process, don't need anyone telling me their money making secrets![]()
Many professions have ways to make gold, jewelcrafters have their daily quest which is an easy 100g. Tailors have Moonshroud/Spellweave/Ebonweave which generally nets around 300g~ every 4 days. Other than that there is plenty of crap to make which people buy off the AH.
