I did 10/25 voa today and the only other time I did it the badges auto looted but I'm not sure if that happened today as I think I forgot to get it on the first guy both times. Is the auto loot just a setting the raid leader sets or is it a change in the game.

How hard are the bosses in voa compared to other 10/25. mostly interested in comparisons to naxx (or possibly OS))since I am nowhere near geared enough for ulduar and want to know how I would do comparatively.

They made it now so that only one person has to loot the badges in order for the rest to get it. Sometimes it doesn't work though and you have to pick up your badge.

Archavon is pretty much the loot pinata, Emalon is a dps race, people are picky on this guy cause you need at least 2.5k dps. Just jump into some 25 man naxx/OS/VoA and you should be ready for ulduar.

Emalon is annoying as a rogue with all the running in it I think I did just 2.5k, 3k on the other dude but a problem on these big bosses is sometimes it's hard to tell if I am even in range and they take up my whole screen with their fatassness. I don't suppose you can use badges to get weapons since that is really what would help me most and naxx seems to be where to get them but I know none of the fights and people don't want to deal with that.

I searched for that addon but it seems you will still get notified, and raid notified, when you actually do complete it so then people will know I lied and will e-laugh at me.

Starting a Shaman : given I'm not looking to make her another healer, what spec would you suggest between Elemental and Enhancement?
Personally I enjoy PVE much more than PVP, and would like to avoid "low tier" dps specs.

Enhancement, I regularly out-dps our guild elemental shamans, plus theyre a lot easier to level, much less downtime and now there are 1h heirloom maces to DW too.

I was 3rd on the meters at our first kill of deconstructor hard mode 25 man last night and pulled 6.2k DPS in this gear:

He'll want to swing a 2h until he learns dual wield levelling as enhancement. Swinging a 1h weapon for 40 levels sucks ass.

OFC, but theres been an heirloom 2h around for ages, enh used to be a bit slower, because there were no heirloom weapons for you post-40

Yeah I read that and it really didnt help much at all as far as macro's go, I have no idea how the macroing system works in the game, its alot diff then say ff, which was retardly simple but this probably is too I just dont get it lol.

So any function provided along with blizzard_debugtools, which includes loadstring and /dump was able to be called and used to determine what spell was to be cast with that particular keypress.

It is very simple, but also has the opportunity to do more complex things.

If you want to keep it simple, just use the following macro:

/cast [target=mouseover] Hysteria

Just mouseover whoever you want to cast it on (it helps if you're using some sort of unit frames) and hit the macro button.

It only gets difficult when you start using things like cast sequences.
