I wasn't trying to force you to change your habits, was just trying to make sense of what your thought process was. You say it's less mathematical to see percentages, yet it seems like you're having to account for class and ballpark what you're going to be restoring if all you can see is a percent of total health. I dunno, just seems counterproductive. But I'm sure I could probably say the same about any healer who does things different than I do/would, even/including the ones in my guild who are all awesome![]()
Eh, I tend to get overly defensive. @.@ Yikes! I'm sure I'd get used to it eventually, just like every other adjustment I've ever made. XD
10M ToC is laughably easy so a mix of ilv213 and 219 should be smooth on the dps side. 10m ToC and 10m Ulduar are both equally easy. Pugging 25 would really depend on how many people are getting carried in the raid, so I'd suggest by then getting rid of the majority of the 213s you have left and go in with more 219 and 226.
it's more of problem when people dont know the fight/ dont know what to do during the fight. no tank-1shot move, or dps race as far as i can tell
An optimum setup would consist of high dpsers, preferably not clothies as they tend to die very easily and as few healers in your raid as possible. You'll want to be ganking the opposing healers as fast as possible and once those are down it's generally a lot easier.
The first time we attempted 10 man most of our dpsers were clothies and we had 3 healers. A week later we attempted it again with a more melee oriented setup (our better dpsers aswell) and 2 healers and we 1-shotted it.
Are you focusing on crowd control too much rather than as much dps as possible? The only ones you'll want to keep CCd until they're dead are the healers, the rest can be kited (helps if you have a hunter for frost traps) without too much difficulty. PVP trinkets help a lot for survivability aswell.
Druid burn > other healers > rogue > anything is our usual method. Pop BL right at the start and have mass dispels ready for their bloodlust/heroism, bubbles and other anoying shit.
What's the best way to use Righteous defense on prot paladin? I have it macroed on Healbot for a quick taunt off someone, but the problem is, it's hard to know who got aggro r when everyone is taking damage from AoE.
Basically, is there any way to know how many target are after every players (from a plugin).
My 2nd question is, how the fuck you macro the mark above people head. Right clicking on the name is a pain in the ass.
From Raid target icons - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft
These icons can be set programmatically in a macro with the API SetRaidTarget function. Example,will mark the target with a Skull, 8 standing for the Icon number.Code:/script SetRaidTarget("target", 8);
Alternatively, they can be bound to keys for quick application. For example, Skull could be bound to Ctrl-K (Kill, sKull) so that the raid leader or assist can apply the icon quickly to a new target during a fight.
For even faster marking, combining the macro(# of course being replaced with the corresponding icon's number) with key bindings will allow you to apply icons without actually targetting anything.Code:/script SetRaidTarget("mouseover", #);
Thanks for the link
Most decent unit frames will recolor the bars of anyone who is the target of a monster as well, so you can use that in quick order to see who has aggro on something they shouldn't.
Also might want to download an addon called Quickmark. Really lightweight addon that is just a little box with raid icons in, you click on someone/thing then click the icon you want straight from the box.
wrong thread lol
In trying to research the disconnect issue I'm having, someone suggested using this:
/run COMBATLOG:UnregisterEvent("COMBAT_LOG_EVENT")
My question is will doing this cause DoTimer and MSBT to stop working?
Edit: Nevermind I found the inverse to re-enable it, so gonna test and see if it works
Is rawr an accurate program for Disc Priests? Trying to gear my friends priest but not sure if rawr is modeling it right with the whole HPS and Burst things. I know it sure doesn't work well for Protadins.
lol I just noticed the NPC in front of ToC that sells heroic T9 names
BOTH RET PALLY
Horde name: Faesrol = Faceroll
Alliance name: Isimode = Easy Mode
lolol
Is Swiftmend one of those essential tree talents? Like if you don't have it, you're gimp.
