    Yeah I'll probably do dk now and save warrior for my main in cataclysm since it takes more gear and work to have fun on and I don't feel like it now while dk can do well in medicore gear. I hate having 3 chars in 60s and debating which to get to 80. Hunter seems like it would work but it's pure dps less versatility.

    I have dual spec into tank setup on my DK just because it's there. I put a little effort into my tank gear, have about 33k unbuffed HP and 539 def or something, but my hit/exp is kinda balls and my weapon is bad (titansteel destroyer). If you do want to tank, you have to get out of that DPS mentality, cause that's what I end up doing and I'll lose aggro because I don't lay DnD down due to spammming heart strike or some shit. Read up on it and it can be fun. (I'm blood tank, which is good for 1 on 1 tanking and a few mobs, but lacks the AoE tanking frost is good at.)

    it pretty much feels like a dps-class with thick armor
    I just made sure I was over 540def, then I went for capping exp/hit, the rest is just stacking dodge/parry and hp. Its extremely easy getting good stats now with TotC and badges.

    Edit: Fuuuuuuuuuuuck I made one and it's insanely fun. Put most of the talent points I got from quests into Unholy. Orc DK = Ballin'.

    This is my restodruid: The World of Warcraft Armory

    I need some suggestions on regemming/enchanting for more mana regen. In tree form, I have 2254 bonus healing, 762 mana5 out of combat and 476 in combat. It might not show on armory, but my boots of wintry endurance have the 18 spirit enchant, 23 sp red gem and 20 spirit blue gem.

    I've been told that I need a minimum of 1k mana5 (whether this is in or out of combat, I don't know), and to get rid of anything with the actual mana5 stat on it, saying that spirit will always win out in terms of mana regen, yet when I got my new boots today, replacing Rainey's Chewed Boots (55 spirit, 19 mana5 and the 18 spirit enchant) I lost 14mana5 in combat. I have also been advised me to gem for intellect, which I hear helps my mana regen some in conjunction with spirit, but elitistjerks talk about a guideline of 1200 total intellect paired with 1200 total spirit - as of right now, I only have 983 intellect and 1111 spirit.

    Any suggestions on what to gem to improve my mana regen, without nerfing the shit out of my spellpower, or enraging my self-proclaimed advisor with mana5 stuff?

    You shouldn't be gemming for Intellect or Spirit. Switch your Meta gem to Insightful Earthsiege Diamond - Item - World of Warcraft and stick a Luminous Ametrine - Item - World of Warcraft in your t8 body and a Purified Dreadstone - Item - World of Warcraft in your t8 legs. Everywhere else you can use Runed Cardinal Ruby - Item - World of Warcraft. Socket bonuses generally aren't worth going for.

    For more mana intensive fights I personally just switch my idol/trinkets. When you'll be spamming Rejuv/Wild Growth I tend to use the rejuv idol and Spark of Hope with the ToC HC trinket. I don't have mana issues at all really, if your co-healers really need you to Innervate them they need to stop sucking.

    Enchants are pretty simple;

    Head: Arcanum of Blissful Mending (Wyrmest Accord)
    Shoulders: Greater Inscription of the Crag (Sons of Hodir)
    Chest: Powerful Stats
    Legs: Brilliant Spellthread
    Boots: Tuskarr's Vitality
    Bracers: Superior Spellpower
    Gloves: Exceptional Spellpower
    Cloak: Greater Speed
    Weapon: Mighty Spellpower

    I noticed that you're well below the haste cap (it's around 656 with 5/5 GotEM). This should be your main focus if you're raid healing, after that crit becomes a little more attractive (especially with 4pc t9). I'd also switch out Glyph of Innervate for Wild Growth, it's not really needed.

    Thanks. The "head restodruid" in my guild calls out on vent when he needs Innervated (it's usually not me though, but the feral kitty in our guild who does it), but he always tops my healing done by like 10% or more, so I just figured he was a better healer than me = react faster = spend more mana than me. I wish I had that Ulduar trinket, but no luck yet. I'd also love the mana5 trinket from FL. @.@

    Around how much healing % does he do? My max. so far has been around 60% with another healer and generally it's around 50% when two-healing stuff with the other healer around 30~35%. To be honest the only times I need an innervate off our Boomkin is if I die (Auraiya's cats always go for me ; ; ). I was fine with my own Innervate even when solo healing Hodir.

    I finnaly got my T8.5 Legs! But now I am at a crossroads, should I stick with my T9 hands for the extra Dodge/Parry/Defense/Stam, or move to T8 hands for the Block value from 4 piece.

    Anyone level a DK post 3.2? There have been a lot of changes and im sitting at 67 with an unholy build and my current spec is just incorrect now. Most melee classes you level with a pvp-type build, is it the same for DK? Anyone wanna post a talent link that should I should be using from 67+?

    BTW, leveling with a ret pally, so things die fast and we typically pull a couple things at once. May run an instance or 2 in northrend for the quests there (nexus). But no instancing outside of that probably. Just a kill shit build lol.

    Also, my rotation is fucked. Used to be IT>PS>SS or whatever, but now with SS not refreshing diseases and the glyph having a chance of adding diseases itself, maybe my glyphs are even wrong.

    How I would Unholy at 67: Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft

    I don't know if this is the best/most optimal but it makes sense to me. You can drop two points in Necrosis if you want the increased movement from On a Pale Horse. Note I didn't take UB, but you probably should if you're going to raid dps with the build; I just didn't see it being useful for solo work since stuff would die before the dot could really work its magic.

    Disease glyph makes a lot more sense than SS because it's basically a two fold benefit: you guarantee your diseases are up for the cost of a single blood rune, AND you get a death rune out of it thanks to Reaping.

    Rotation iirc should generally be IT-PS-BSx2(the reason for these is to convert to Death runes)-SSx3-Coil dump/Pest-BS(death runes again)-SSx3-Coil dump etc. SS replaces Ob as your FU ability, you get the blood runes converted to death so you can use them for an extra SS.

    There is no be all end all guide for healers. You have to use what works best for you. What exactly is it that you need to know though?

    My resto druid just dinged 80 last night at like 2 AM, and I spammed Reg ToC a bit. Any advice on what rep/heroics I should do first? Also, any advice on spec/gems/whatnot is appreciated.

    Your spec is perfectly fine for raid healing, get rid of the Innervate/Rebirth glyphs though, they both suck. Swiftmend/Nourish/Wild Growth are generally the best assuming you're not tank healing.

    For rep i'd go for Wyrmrest Accord/Hodir first just for the enchants, the others aren't really important as gearing up nowadays is so easy.

    As for idols, you'll want to get the Triumph and Valor ones eventually, both are win depending on the situation.

    I'm not sure whether the math works in the favor of UP when running an Unholy build; it might, since you have several talents that proc off white hits, so more haste = more of those procs...but BP's 15% damage increase applies to everything you do, and not just white hits. You also get health back which keeps you grinding longer, but you can also Death Strike your hp back when you get low, plus you're running with a pally who can judge light for hp gains there, plus incidental heals. On the flip side, UP gives you movement speed. On top of all this, IUP would mean you keep the move speed in other presences (negligible for FP, but BP damage increase+heals+move speed=hawt?).

    You'd only be shaving a second off your runes if you stay in UP with IUP, so I'm not sure how appreciable that would be. It may loosen things up so you don't lose diseases? I'm not even sure if that's a problem now or not, things have changed. I basically binged a DK into the mid 70s when they first came out on Unholy and haven't touched it much since, choosing to focus on my Druid instead. I still keep up with mechanics differences but little details relating to playstyle escape me.

    Well the 15% movement bonus would be pretty nice in areas like sholazar if i'm not 80 by then, and since the ret already has a 15% bonus to speed so I'd keep up. So I could stay in blood, and have that movement speed. And +Movement effects > Damage bonus > Survivability when it comes to leveling.

    I would pick up the death grip glyph, it was amazing when I leveled my DK.
