Folks never use the right word. 'Summon' seems a leftover relic from other holiday events where an actually 'summoning' of the event boss would occur (i.e. Headless Horseman). Direbrew, meanwhile, is just standing there.
Hand-Mounted Pyro Rockets or Hyperspeed Accelerators for Ret pally? I know the rockets come out on top on non-fire resistant mobs, but since those exist in plenty of places, should I perhaps go for the accelerators instead?
I'd think the rockets as I can't think of any worthwhile boss thats particualy fire resistant.
onyxia and ignis? can't think of more either <.< (worth noting is that I hit 80 on this character the other night, so I've only managed to get edge of ruin and a couple of other gear pieces. meaning running ulduar wouldn't be out of the question for me)
I don't think either one of those is fire resistant (Ony definitely isn't anymore, or so my guild says).
Try using Rawr to check your specific stats.
oh well if ony isn't anymore then definitely going with rockets <.<; ignis would only be one fight even if he was fire resistant anyways. ty
I found this very fascinating. Firstly I can see that it is in the General discussion forum but it seems as if some of the conversation is in character (or rp) but I know there is a separate role play forum. I find it fascinating because some of the comments are realistic, passionate as if they are the characters talking about their own lore. The developer/community team comment is even kind of in character.
Is this an intentional medley of role play and out of character discussion or am I misreading it?
World of Warcraft - English (NA) Forums -> Give us lordaeron back
A couple samples from the thread, bold the IC parts when mixed in with OOC dialog but the text is direct quote.
the undead have no right to it, its for humans and the alliance alone.
the forsaken are evil its time for them to go, blizzard ruined the lore when they let the frosaken into the horde, huge plothole imo
so its fine to give horde southshore and more of the night elf area's, but not our grand city back?Fan boy reply: First off i'd like say, there is NO way you're getting a city back that I have every right to. As being a citizen of Lordaeron I died, then I came back, this land is still my own.
LoLTroll Reply: You're a DEATH Knight wanting a human city back because "Undead" Have no rights to claiming YOUR city even though you're Dead.
Etc, etcIf the forsaken stake claim to lordaeron they must also stake claim to the internment camps that orcs like to blame humans for so often.
The internment camps were in lordaeron so staking claim to the city means you also must take the blame for the internment camps and all the mistreatments that happened there.
When I finally ding 80 on my first toon, what should I be doing first to gear myself up for PvE and PvP? I hear I should be running heroics but I'm more or less a complete n00b to WoW's endgame e.e
Mostly looking to do BG's at first in PvP, avoiding arena's till I xfer to my friends server.
If you are looking to do mostly pvp then:
Grind the shit out of BGs for honor and use the honor to buy the low level pvp gears.
Run at least the daily HC each day for emblems to buy the higher tier pvp gears.
When you are hit capped for your class leech voa 10+25 each week for the high level pvp gear.
How are Fury warriors doing these days, after 3.2? I remember in Naxxa they were quite impressive, often on par or better than equal geared rogues.
Since then I rarely had one in party or raid so I'm quite clueless now
Up until and during the first part of TOC (where hardmodes werent out yet and 1boss a week) ours averaged pretty high and on some fights were top 5. But these people were swapping between arms/fury depending on the fight so not sure how much was arms and how much fury. Still really strong either way, just takes an assload of work to get it to the point where it isn't shitty.
As a Feral Druid I heart Arms Warriors. Trauma ftw.
What spreadsheets are you rogues using now, Aldriana's 3.2 combat doesnt have my rings in it.
I'm still using Aldriana's (you can insert rows for new gear, but completely guessing on Trinkets.
I still hate using Aldriana's though.

That will show you all the gear, past that point I think all you need to do is copy/insert a row in the middle of the gear types and enter the stats. I've not messed with the combat sheet that much so I'm not 100% sure that's all you need to do.
any suggestions for what spec to go when my rogue hits 80? I looked over my server's top rogues, and like 9/10 are assassination, and 1 is combat. I do like the assassination ability that's basically sneak attack from FFXI, but it seems like the rotation is more complex? Any advice?
