    At first i thought that my bedroom lights did something weird, only until after i learned that it was a meteor lighting up the sky ridiculously bright...

    I've seen something similar, but not near as spectacular. Just looked like a "shooting star", but was bigger and burned up in what I would assume being entry into the atmosphere. Wasn't near that bright, that was just fucking amazing.
