    help formating a dell

    ok so I just got a Dell Inspiron 8600 and I cant figure out how to format it. I went into the advanced options menu and it gave me no option to format or repair the pc please help BG!

    Did it ship with a restore CD of some sort? You need to boot from that disc, not the hard drive.
