Quicktime movies in Firefox 3, also GOM player. Question.

I personally hate Quicktime player with a passion. I've never seen a use for it other than wanting to watch a Quicktime video on a webpage. So with that in mind, I never have it installed.

The only movie player I keep on my PC is GOM player or VLC (not so much anymore).

Is there anyways I can stop this from happening in FF3 without having to download Quicktime? Or will I be forced to? I don't think theres a way that GOM can handle browser videos that stream?

edit: I know I can watch videos on Gametrailers.com in other formats. But this is just an example.

If I'm ever desperate enough to want to watch anything quicktime, I use this: QuickTime Alternative - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Yup, go with both of those. Filehippo is an amazing source for software like that.
