I havent paid much attention to the news lately because of the finals, I'm not sure I could give you a detailed explanation. Actually, I don't know much than what you said already.

NPD (social democrate) are joining with the Liberals to overthrow the current government. Why they can do this without going through an election is beyond me...
I'm not well versed in politics, but everything about it sound retarded. An alliance between Liberal and NPD, who both have completely different politics? Overthrowing the current government without election....4 weeks after the elections? Can you just think ahead team up before?

And what are they going to do once they get there? The same fucking thing the conservative would have done, because there isn't hundred of way to handle a world wide crisis.

It did came out of the left fields. I didn't even know it was possible till last week.

The claim they are making is your typical political claim. It's nearly impossible to tell which side is the best with the information they give us. We just have to believe one will be better than other when it come to economy.

In basic supply and demand figures, the U.S. is using approximately 42 million gallons of gasoline less this year than we did last year. We're using less because the higher prices we saw earlier this year caused a reduction in demand, and the slowing of the U.S. economy has also contributed to that.

"Additionally, in the fourth quarter of every year, that's typically when we see the lowest gasoline prices. The reason for that is because beginning October 1, refineries are required to supply 'winter-blended fuel,' which has fewer additives and costs less to produce. That savings is also passed on to the consumer.

Close, it's not the US suffering, the world is suffering. The economic crisis isn't isolated to just the USA. OPEC is the major reason the prices are low obviously but the underlying factors are what we should be interested in.
