As easy as it is to place the blame on the "bully", the girl's parents must have failed pretty hard to raise a girl that was gullible enough to fall for it, and then kill herself over preteen drama. Not to mention being overweight and "depressed" at 13. When your biggest stress is which table you sit at for lunch break, you're not depressed.

What's the motivation for claiming someone is "pathetic" for killing themselves? Is it an issue of value or as someone has already said, about selfishness? If the latter, then it's not really "patheticness" that's the issue as someone being selfish has more of an ego issue than any sort of pathetic demeanor, and furthermore, people who always say this seem to ignore that from either side can be interpreted selfishness. Selfish for putting in people a terrible situation by killing yourself, and selfish for forcing someone else to live for your own sake.

So long ago when I was but a toddler I had serious depression issues. I was a 'agoraphobic'? It's basically people that are afraid to go outside. It wasn't severe, I just had horrible anxiety when I saw someone look at me. Not for any particular reason, I was not ugly, it was just mental bullshit. I took shit all the time from my family and I thought about killing myself a lot. Then I realized that being a fucking loser is pathetic and stupid. Really all you need is a mental slap in the face and you are fine. There was nothing wrong with this dumb bitch, she just needed some attention/friends. She needed to address her problems appropriately and not fret like a fucking idiot. People that say you should stop being a pussy because life's tough are 100% correct. If you think being a fucking teenager that doesn't exactly fit in with the cool kids is hard, wait til this dumb bitch gets older. She would've eventually killed herself because she's weak. Being an adult and being a kid are completely different worlds, and she couldn't handle being a kid. She definitely wouldn't have survived being an adult.

Chronic/episodic pathological depression without social explanation is not the same thing as depression caused by "environment". I don't know whether she was clinically depressed or whether it was just a "social" issue, but, evidently, neither should be treated with a nonchalant demeanor as they can both pretty much lead to the same things.
