Serious question, what is it about Persona 3 and 4 that seems to attract a lot of gay people?

I guess the fact that you were attracted to this thread prove the rumor, but I wouldn't be able to answer your question.
[edit]
And since Kuya gayed up this thread, i might as well post the gayest scene

The part at 4min30 made me rofl.
It's nice that you're trying to be witty, but i was actually asking a serious question, most likely from someone who knows, which probably isn't you.
Me and my friend noticed that a lot of our more pronounced gay friends had a major stiffy for Persona 3 and subsequently Persona 4, other friends had also had the same comments, the ones that know enough about games anyway. Not specifically because of the forums, but i noticed it here too.
I don't know enough gay people to comment, but I really don't see what kind of appeal this game would have that is exclusive to them. If there is any targeted audience, it would be animes fan before anything.
Beside what I posted earlier, and Kanji's dungeon Persona 4: Kanji's Shadow (which are both hilarious in the context), everything is straigth. Maybe pronounced gay like game that allow you to date girls to make up for their real life, i dunno?
I thought it had something to do with cute boys, but i'm not sure.
Well, why Persona would have more "cute boy" than let's say, a Final Fantasy game? Character design is pretty much the one you would see in your average anime, and like I said above, none of the males character are involved in anything worse (or better?) than what you see in any other game.
I don't know, maybe Julian or Yuri know.
Me liking Persona3/4 has nothing to do with me being gay.
I wasn't asking whether your theoretical gay genes were making you like certain games or not, i was asking what you think might be the reason why, if you assume what i'm saying is true, gamers who are gay tend to flock to these Persona games?
uh, idk? I don't really think so. I'd hardly call it flocking because gay people on an rpg forum like an rpg
I also don't really find most of the guys in this game cute >_>
It's just a matter of taste really. This is an RPG, I like RPGs.
Well, you could also try this angle: Both Persona 3 and 4 are very anime-ish. So people that like both anime and RPGs tend to also like Persona3/4?
This was sparked today, because a friend of mine, suffice he considers himself gay, said he liked Persona games after i asked him about games, this surprised me because he doesn't really like videogames. This made me think about it, and i realized that this was actually oddly common.
Just a little technical note: He mean Persona3/4 only? Cause the rest of the series is pretty dark and a lot different than these 2 >.>
He's gaming illiterate, i'm absolutely sure he only means the recent 2.
I'd say the "modern pop" feel (or whatever you want to call it) that persona has is it gets people interested and the "social life sim" part of it keeps them into it. It does pull that off pretty well and is pretty much the only RPG around to do so.
I know a few girls who would otherwise never touch an RPG with a 10 foot pole that like persona as well; I'd chalk it up to not really having to do with gay people/women/whatever other group per se, but just as something a lot of otherwise non-gamers kinda get attracted to (maybe because it does things in a way or have a certain feel to it they would have never, as non-gamers, considered a game could have? especially with all the ad-time today being pretty much 99% sports or FPS).
