watched something on Nat Geo last night about how they can use chickens and Emus to reverse genetic code and recreate dinosaurs, pretty interesting stuff.

I saw this on a podcast earlier this year. The guy showed that by placing certain protiens near the developing embryo, the baby chicken actually grew to have a longer tail >.>. I guess the chickens start off with more vertebrae in the tail than when they become fully devoloped, so i guess the protiens turned off the code that makes them fuse together.

As far as I know there is a fourth Jurassic Park movie planned but I don't think Spielburg (sp?) is directing it which means it'll suck balls >.<

On topic, yeah they have been working on this for a few years. It is really interesting, Science channel and Science daily website has alot of updates in the research from time to time.

So I was telling my girlfriend about this and she was all excited and stuff. In the end she ended up saying something like this.

"That's what's gonna happen, we're gonna create the dinosaurs again and then we'll send em all off to their little island and then have our little nuclear war battle and they're be safe on their little island and then evolution will start all over again."

She went on to say how this has probably happened already 5 or 6 times and we only know how old the earth and stuff is based on since when it last happened. She really got my brain thinkin on such an outgoing thing to say. She wasn't REALLY serious but it's just one of those things that 'could' happen.

Yep Yep, they have made remarkable progress in mapping the Genome of Mammoths. If anyone has never checked out the Genome mapping project you should google it and check it out, A LOT of neat things are being found.

Of course that is if you are permitted to think for yourself. This may not apply to some.
