Don't haze me, bro.
Welp that's one cheesecake factory I'm never buying from. Who knows what they're rubbing their genitals in when their aren't any closet gays around ew ew ew ew
I forget how long he was in that restaurant for but he spent the entire time trying to get managers to stop him from being dryhumped. 20 times is way over the top but the 20 time when he quit was apparently the time it finally clicked in that noone in management cared from what im reading in the article.
Oh and those cooks. They sure as hell aint straight. They are obviouly in some serious denial and I would have a laugh if the guy took mug shots of them all and posted them in the neighborhood with captains like "I like to rub my balls over other men."
I don't know if it was 20 counts of rape, lol. Sounds more like 20 passing incidents as well as the more severe stuff that was detailed.
When stuff like this happens in the context of work, it's really hard to be objective and say "This is harassment/abuse and it has to stop." because, especially when it happens to a guy, it's called hazing and laughed at. Bullies often have smiles on their faces the whole time and go about everything like it's all in fun. So that probably only made it harder for the guy to stand up and say something about it, and the reactions in this thread kinda prove how hard that would be.
I have no problem believing stuff like this was allowed to go on, I've seen stuff just as bad get laughed at by management.
Goddamnit BG, why so serious? This thread could have been been so fun.![]()
