All other mage jobs besides White Mage have some way to gain mp, either through job trait or spell. Are there any plans to introduce a form of White Mage MP recovery? IGN
Gondai: The new White Mage weaponskill from the Nyzul Isle Mythic Weapons gives White Mage a unique way of regaining MP. We are considering tweaks to have White Mages and Red Mages attack more.

I'd like to state something for those people bitching about SMN whining...

While I don't condone the whining, we have been waiting an awfully long time for SE to fulfill the promises they have made to us for the last three years. Yes, spiting the BPs was a nice gesture, but we still don't have a solid place. We main heal in parties with minor buffs on the side, but we don't get to actually fight with our Avatars for longer than a few seconds. We do moderate DD in Endgame, but most times we are in the reserves, taking a back seat to the other mages. We are somewhat useful in quests, but our breakout roles are few and far between. I won't even begin to tell you how many times people have asked me to do Golden Salvage, and then never thank me for the work.

Last night I had a dream that Carbuncle got a new buff, and Fenrir got a new attack. I remember how happy this made me, because it allowed me to try something new. Sadly, the dream ended, and I was left wanting. It wouldn't take a lot to make me happy. Just give me a place in the party that I can excel at better than the other 19 jobs. There is enough to do that this is possible, but SE has ignored it. We aren't as abused as the PUP, but SE was right in saying that all of the Pet jobs are currently in a bad place. BST can solo, which gives them some niche to carve out. We just want to be needed.

Yes, a new avatar or two probably won't fix our problems, but it would give us a reason to continue playing until the day comes where we have a niche of our own.

As far as stats go, AV items are hardly worth the trouble.

That means people should stop trying to kill it and let it go the way of low level events like Garrison and Eco-Warrior..rarely if at all bothered with.

That aside it is pretty obvious SE dropped a little too much on the JP fanfest. Not exactly a smart move. What we got really was the same information, but more in depth on some parts.

Yeah, plenty of the questions were pretty stupid. There was some amusing tidbits. I agree with some sites being dropped because they are dead and irrelevant. It is pretty obvious which.

I am glad there were less AV and PW questions, but give it to the FFXI circle to fill that void with mostly useless questions.


EDIT: Didn't someone say if SE doesn't act on drop rate after the duping of Salvage armor they were bad at game design? Well guess what maggots...

SMN have their use in endgame and they are able to solo nicely. If you're not happy with this, there is 19 more jobs that could fulfill different role. Job changes and new abilities are always welcomed (or not..lolfootwork), but why limit the crying to SMN only?

Yea when I read that I was pretty (wtf) also. I'm not sure what the point of this is.. Town gear isn't that important so they best add some decent gear to MMM.

People paid them 40$ for an ugly brown cloat with some blingbling on it. I guess some people do care about useless stuff.

No gears reward in the maze is kinda lame, but at least, we should get the promised skill up and a few other thing maybe.
