Aceroth [Cerberus] [Odin]

I need to know information about this player. He is working with my LS and he is a very nice guy but extremely secretive. He claims he came from the server Cerberus and was from the LS Knights of Nee. He also claims to have stage 4 Ghorn as well a lot of other extremely expensive auction house items. Any information would appreciated.

Edit: he is a Elvaan with almost all maat jobs at 75, claims he was recently hacked as well which resulted in him moving from Odin to Hades.

I've known him for a long time during my time on Cerberus. He did join KoN for a little while but then disappeared for whatever reason, I suppose he went to Odin lol.

He was never a bad person to do things with and got along well with everyone. Well geared, as you mentioned, and from what I saw he knew what he was doing about a lot of things.

I see the word "claims" a lot and I'm gonna have to agree with that. He claimed to have almost (maybe all? I can't remember exactly) all crafts to 100 on his various mules/characters but never was able to prove it to me. I know that a lot of people thought his main craft was IGEcreditswipe100+3+3 but there is no proof of that either (that I know of). Not sure if your LS cares about that sort of stuff.

Like I said though, skill-wise and personality-wise, I think he'll be a good addition and he won't cause a lot of drama.

That sounds exactly like Aceroth from Cerberus, last I talked to him he only had WHM left for Maats Cap, and a lot of the jobs were 75.

I've known him almost since I started playing (about 4 years), he was a sackholder in the social LS that I was a part of (and several of those members are in my endgame LS).

I haven't talked to him beyond a few phone texts for a year, but I'll give the most fair evaluation that I can.

The good:

He was a very skilled player, especially on NIN. He gears himself up very well and he's got great timing and ability to adjust to any situation (ie., he's not that guy that's going to wipe you, he'll do the exact opposite). I have no idea how he afforded the gear, like Thelan said he claimed to have all crafts at 100 but I've never seen proof either way.
He's very helpful to his friends, helping them with whatever they need in-game. He also gave me a pair of Dusk Ledelsens when I was first starting endgame PLD and struggling to build a Walmart setup for PLD/NIN (this was during the inflation, they were around 3m I think). He helped me learn how to tank Sky and be a good PLD in Dynamis, as well as teaching me the ins and outs of Sky farming. A lot of my playstyle I learned from him, and adapted as the game has progressed.
He's a lot of fun to play with, always quick with a joke and doesn't take things too seriously.

The bad:
He's very much a braggart, always boasting on his accomplishments, and while this doesn't bother me some people get tired of it.
He was always prone to fake DC'ing if he got bored or just didn't feel like playing. Never once did he just say "I have to go" or "I want to do something else", he would just pull the plug and show up a day or 3 later.


On Cerberus he was in a Japanese HNM LS for quite some time, I forget the name of it, and in some iteration of Knights Of Ni at some point. He also started a Sky/Dynamis LS that I was a part of, but after a few months he stopped playing.

I'll be interested to see what responses this post gets, but for what it's worth I enjoyed playing with the dude and I hope he's able to settle in somewhere.

I would love to see anything from the players Sprye or Taint as their names have been very frequently mentioned by ace.

I honestly can't remember too much about him but he was very well equipped and a good player. I remember he asked to purchase a Ridill form us once and I said 100M and he said it was doable because he had all crafts leveled but got some pretty reliable info that was false. Anyway, game wise he seems like a cool guy and I don't remember him ever causing any drama or lying about anything that mattered so it'd probably be a good choice for recruiting.

iirc Aceroth had helped me back when I was a newb. Seemed like a pretty okay guy to me, and definitely willing to help me on more than one occasion. Of course I haven't spoken or seen the guy for over two years due to my own server transfer.
