In BG East, I was #2 in total points, #5 in the standings. Oh well, that's fantasy football. Second straight year I've started 0-3, but last year I actually climbed to #4.

Our DST scoring in a sense will start at a base of 14 and then deduct points based on points against and tiers of passing and rushing yards. The 300 rushing yard tier is a point deduction, but I got the point back once the total hit 299.
Here is the breakdown for scoring:
Any turnover or blocked kick/punt returned for TD - 6 points
Safety - 2 points
INT, Sack and Fumble Recovered - 1 point
Shutout - 6 points
Passing Yards Allowed:
0-99 - 4 points
100-199 - 3 points
200-299 - 2 points
300-399 - 1 point
400+ - 0 points
Rushing Yards Allowed:
0-99 - 4 points
100-199 - 3 points
200-299 - 2 points
300-399 - 1 point
400+ - 0 points
So I had 2 INT, 173 Passing Yards Allowed, 299 Rushing Yards Allowed and a sack which totaled 8 points (2 + 3 + 2 + 1).
HELP! My mind is going crazy on who to start.

Tatum Bell
(Den - RB) @Car Sun
all looks good except Vincent Jackson. I'd probably sit him for Eddie Royal. Last week's numbers were an oddity for him, and he usually only catches 2-3 at most per game. Rivers just doesn't target him as much
Here's what I have this week:
Starting Lineup:
Drew Brees @ Chi
Frank Gore @ Mia
Matt Forte vs. NO
Dwayne Bowe vs. SD
Andre Johnson vs. Ten
Steve Smith vs. Den
Anthony Fasano vs. SF
Steelers D/ST @ Bal
Stephen Gostkowski @ Oak
Bench
Joseph Addai vs. Det
Lee Evans @ NYJ
Jay Cutler @ Car
Chester Taylor @ Ari
Eagles D/ST vs. Cle
Matt Prater @ Car
Vernon Davis @ Mia
I'd like to get Addai in there somewhere, but I don't know who to bench. I know his shoulder is hurt, but it's the LIONS. I'm thinking about benching Gore because of his ankle injury, but I'm just not sure. Any suggestions?
KC's actually pretty decent on pass defense. The main problem with that team is the defensive line play. That works toward the short route runners more than it would somebody like VJ though, since he's usually the one doing the longer patterns. Carolina has a better overall defense, but WRs tend to have better games against them than against the Chiefs.
edit:
Sit Gore if you're really wanting Addai to play, but I'm not sure if I'd want to play him considering his consistently declining numbers. Gore would be the one though, if you really want to play Addai
Ah.. I think I'm screwed. I'm #1 seed, but looks like I have some bad matchups this week.
1 - QB:
Favre
Orton
Schuab
3 - WRs:
Marshall @ CAR
Bryant @ ATL
Evans @ NYJ
A. Johnson
2 - RBs:
Peterson @ ARI
Slaton
Jacobs @ DAL
Will obviously pick Slaton if Jacobs is unable to play, favoring Marshall/Johnson/Bryant.. but no clue to pick for QB. Any ideas?
I'm in first place in my league with my friends by several games and the playoffs start this week. I also have a first round bye, and am now freaking bored. My lineup if anybody is interested.
QB: D. McNabb
RBs: A. Peterson, M. Lynch
WRs: A. Boldin, L. Evans, D. Jackson
K: J. Elam
D: Ravens.
Marion Barber or Brandon Jacobs?
Fuckers need to man up.
either of them out this week?
I think Jacobs won't play. No sense in playing him when the Giants are locked up in the playoffs. Barber will probably play imo, especially after this whole tough bullshit.
Other news, out of Jacksonville, Fred Taylor is going on IR, so MJD owners may want to start him this week as he'll get the full load.
I heard Jacobs missed practice again today and his status is unclear for the weekend. I've had Barber on my team all year and lately he's been slacking -_- I would think Jacobs would play if he can, G-men want home field and not to mention Carolina is right behind em and play them next week. If I *had* to choose between the two I would go with Jacobs, if he plays.
I also got a dilemna myself, Favre vs the Bills or Matt Ryan against the Bucs?! Don't want a first round exit;;
he might actually have a huge game too, if they're playing GB. That's usually been one of their weaknesses D:
and I just looked at projections on ESPN. It looked like whoever makes those fully expects Derrick Ward to be the starter, but I don't know when they actually made those
also, would you go with Reggie Bush or Pierre Thomas this week? Both had pretty good games Sunday, but I can't start em both, since Forte is likely gonna do better than one of the two
Hmm, Hines Ward, Devon Bess, or Santonio Holmes?
I'm thinking Bess.
Me too. I'm liking Bess as well.
Tyche, listening to the Herd? Watching on ESPNU. I can't believe he just spent like 10 minutes on Heather Locklier, rofl.
I caught about 5 minutes of him arguing with Fisch about her knees, then I went out to count how many flourescent bulbs I had out. I missed some of it...btw...I want the wheel.
