I second the Moore/Gonzalez combo. I also agree that the RB choice is tough. I had Turner this season and he started every game for me regardless of matchup. Needless to say he didn't let me down (although Westbrook did this past weekend with his less than 8 point showing, 1st round exit as the 1 seed -_-) If it were me I would go with Turner just because I rode with him all year!

OK, this is the first week of a two week Championship round for me. My first question is which D/ST should I start?

    Steelers @ Ten
    or
    Eagles @ Was

My next question is about WRs and RBs. It's a 2 RB 2 WR 1 RB/WR league. Here's my options:

    RB:
    Chester Taylor vs. Atl
    Matt Forte vs. GB
    Joseph Addai @ Jac
    Frank Gore @ Stl

    WR:
    Dwayne Bowe vs. Mia
    Andre Johnson @ Oak
    Steve Smith @ NYG
    Lee Evans @ Den

Right now I'm thinking of starting Taylor, Forte, Bowe, Johnson, and Smith. Any opinions on this? I'd love to start Gore because he usually tears up the Rams, but I'm worried he won't get enough touches because of his ankle.

If, and that's a big if, Gore practices in full tomorrow, I'd definitely start him over Taylor. Addai is probably going to be resting quite a bit until the playoffs hit, and Taylor is a huge gamble for a playoff round. Other than that, I pretty much agree with you. Smith makes it as the WR/RB, because he always seems to find a way to get open, regardless of the coverage.

    Jax and Williams imo.

I think I'm going to go with Turner over Rhodes. He's scored in 3 of his last 4 games and went for over 100 yards in 3 of four. He's playing well.

Turner beats up on bad defenses though. I'm not sure I'd go with him over Rhodes, but I'd hate to make the decision on which to use D:

Here's the BG West championship lineups

I'm still unsure about Breaston, but it sounded like he might be seeing more time this week too. Boldin's shoulder is banged up, and they don't know if he'll be ready to go this week. That might help me in two leagues, but I'd hate to be a number 1 seed and drop in the first round in IDP lol

I just picked up Shaun Rogers in case Gore doesn't start, might put him in over Derrick Ward/Walter.

Also I just picked up Cleveland's D, not sure if it is a good move or not. But D's in our league has averaged 11 points against them. Cleveland got 17 against them last time they played, plus the game is in Cleveland.

I also have Colts D and Giants D, I just feel like the Panthers are going to rip through the G Men.

Aww, fuck me for benching Garrard. Who would have thought he'd have a 20-point game? ><

You're the third person I've heard say this...why are people saying this, exactly?

    I have problems myself.

    Championship week, I have:

    Dilemma #1 - One QB
    1. Kurt Warner @ NE - horrible weather, ARI has nothing to win, Kurt sucks in the East Coast
    2. Dan Orlovsky v. NO - gets 220/1 per game, goes up against NO, DET wants a win and they're at home
    3. Jeff Garcia v. SD - Injury, Bucs need the win, but how much will Garcia be needed?

This is how I see it:
My team just scored as time ran out, and I'm down 21-20:

Playing Kurt Warner would be kicking the extra point.
Playing Dan Olrovsky would be going for two and the win.
Playing Jeff Garcia would be a penalty on the play and I've got to go for the score again...

I'm really leaning towards Orlovsky. Warner's taken me this far, but I have the gut-wrenching feeling they're going to bench him early. Plus, he won't have Boldin.

    Dilemma #2 - Three WRs
    1. Andre Johnson @ OAK - this is a no brainer, he'll start for me.
    2. Larry Fitzgerald @ NE - same stuff as Warner. It's not just that ARI has nothing to win from the game, but that the weather conditions will be terrible, apparently.
    3. Brandon Marshall v. BUF - DEN needs to win to keep their playoff hopes alive - at least one more week. Marshall is the #1 target in the offense, but then again he has not topped 100 yards since week 3 of the season.
    4. Marques Colston @ DET - no weather conditions as the game's in a dome, but how often will he be targetted? The best case scenario is that I start Orlovsky and Colston, and there's a shootout -- but then again, that could mean Pierre Thomas (opponent's team) could have a huge outting as well.

Which WR am I going to bench? I hate having two huge question marks heading into the finals...

I have a feeling Orlovsky is going to turn into Optimus Prime and wreck some shit on Sunday.

    I'd bench Colston.

EDIT: Do I go with Thigpen who's good for less yards but TD and some rushing yards? Or Brett Favre who'll be playing in snow?

No clue. I'm curious if I should go with Shaun Hill or Kurt Warner. D:

And I can't bench Colston this week on my end. I need him to do SOMETHING against the shitfordefense Detroit Lions. I think Detroit COULD win this game though. Expect a huge game from Orlovsky and the REAL CJ, Calvin Johnson.

He can be the real CJ when he wins a game.

Hey. He already is. The bastard is the only offensive threat on the field for the Lions and STILL gets his catches/yards/TDs, lol.

    LT @ TB
    DeShaun Foster @ StL
    Steve Breaston @ NE
    Kevin Walter @ OAK
    Derrick Ward CAR

    Pick 2

Tampa Bay D hasn't allowed a rushing TD this whole season at home but LT has scored 10+ in all but 3 of his games.

DeShaun Foster would be a great start if Gore sits out, which I think he will. Will have to get some one to check on the game time decision, isn't that revealed a hour before the game?

Steve Breaston is looking great seeing how Boldin will more than likely not play with his shoulder injury.

Kevin Walter is spotty but with all the attention A Johnson has been getting I think Nnamdi Asomugha will be on him all game.

Derrick Ward has always been a great flex spot but with Jacobs back in not sure if he is 100%.

    I am contemplating benching LT...

    HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!

Yeah. I'd go with DeShaun Foster if Gore sits, and probably Breaston seeing as Boldin will probably sit. If Gore plays, swap Foster out for LT.

    RB:
    LT @TB
    DeShaun Foster @StL
    Tim Hightower @ NE, lol
    Derrick Ward CAR

    WR:
    Larry Fitzgerald @NE
    Gren Jennings @CHI
    Steve Breaston @NE
    Kevin Walter @OAK

    Defense:
    Browns CIN
    Giants CAR
    Jets @SEA
    Dolphins @KC
    49ers @StL

And with your comment Akiyami, I agree about DeShaun Foster.

Breaston at NE is giving me a migraine because of how shitty the weather is supposedly supposed to be there, 34 High and 100% of Precipitation. The same goes with Fitzgerald seeing how there are rumors of Warner possibly being benched after the 2nd half.

Even though LT should do shit against TB, they allow 115 rushing yards a game and I think he will get a few receptions.

Some people are telling me to sub in Walter for Fitzgerald but I am not sure about that.

Is no one else worrying about their team? Haha...

won 2 championships yesterday :D Headspace really took me down to the wire with Dwill though (and would've easily beaten me if he left Jacobs in), but BG West ended up 116-111 eventually. Akiyama kicked my ass badly in IDP though, even with Housh starting. The other championship was basically an experimental EA sports league. Definitely didn't like that place as much as Yahoo!'s fantasy coverage though

Sorry about the Foster choice, Serif. Did that cost you a win? I had him in a couple leagues myself, and he burned me.
