maybe, depends on how much work I can get done before then. I've got a paper due for school tomorrow![]()
Michael is in from Germany, therefore, you don't have a choice in this matter. You're going.
I'm a Packers fan too. The reason why you hold onto hope is that because there is still a chance the Packers make it in to the playoffs.
Looking at the remaining schedule for the Vikings, Bears, and Packers, I really think there is a shot to win the division.
Vikings:
@ Detroit - Pretty much a win
@ Arizona - Could be a tough game. Especially if Arizona gets a lead and the Vikings have to abandon the run.
Atlanta - Another tough game.
Giants - Giants could rest their starters for this one. If the Giants lose to the Cowboys in week 15, there is a chance they will have to play hard the final week to clinch homefield advantage.
Vikings could go 1-3 in these four games to finish at 8-8. If they beat Arizona, 2-2 for a 9-7 record.
Chicago:
Jacksonville - Most likely a win.
New Orleans - Definitely a tough game.
Green Bay - This game could determine the divsion.
@ Houston - Most likely a win.
Chicago could 2-2 in these four games to finish at 8-8. If they somehow beat New Orleans, they'll finish 9-7.
Green Bay:
Houston - Should win.
@ Jacksonville - Seeing as how they lost to the Texans on Monday, another should win.
@ Chicago - If we want to have a chance at winning the division, this is a must win.
Detroit - Win.
Packers have an extremely easy schedule the last four weeks and could easily go 4-0 to finish 9-7.
PAckers could win the division outright, if they finish at 9-7 and both Minnesota and Chicago finish 8-8.
If all three finish at 9-7, The first tiebreaker is head to head matchup (Packers/Vikings split their games and Packers swept the Bears), then division record, which the Packers will be 5-1, Vikings 4-2, and Chicago 3-3. So, the Packers would win the division.
It's a long shot, but there still is a chance.
The Vik's will win that division more than likely and even if the packers do make it which I dont see happening, they'll be one and done.
Beating the Plaxico situation into the dirt here but...
They have impounded Pierce's SUV to look for blood and gunpowder residue for when he took Burress to the hospital, etc etc.
My question is, what relevance is that to the case? I thought the major deal was just the fact he had the gun.
Is there something im missing here?
If they can find evidence that Pierce tryed to help Plax hide the gun, they can hit him with 'obstruction of justice' (or something to that effect, not sure if that's the correct term) which probably carries a short jail sentence. It'll probably get talked down to a large fine and/or probation though.
That he didn't report the crime and neither did the Dr who worked on him.
Well fair enough then. For some reason that didn't strike me.
Also about the Dr thing (which i havent heard about).....why should he report it? isnt there a patient confidentiality he has to abide by?
Didn't Plax use a fake name too?
Man, you guys are all on it, lol. I feel like i should know these things!
Also i didnt know that lolDeuceMcallistor was in the doping case going on now too. Thats hillarious
In defense of the doctor, Plax was wearing this

The whole Plax story gets pretty complex if you listen to enough New York sports talk radio like I do, it could probably have its own thread. Anyway, as always I am grateful for people continuing to pick against the Giants because I feel it really fuels their fire. Especially the Giants playing Philly in East Rutherford.. are you kidding me? I have tickets, I'll be there, we're going to clinch, and the stadium is going to be electric. We're going to run over Philly like every other "tough team" we've had in the past 6 weeks or so.
Fucking Minnesota judge issued a ruling staying the ban on the Williamsesss to hear further arguments. Looks like they'll play against Detroit at least. Lame.

So Vince is supposed to play this weekend and next few because you know, the Titans are a shoe in for the post season. Be funny how they react if games are close or he loses them. I personally think Fischer and the boys are evaluating him, they have said that signing Collins and Chris Simms in the post season are a priority.
He will play despite having a thumb infection (he should keep his opposable digits out of his rectum) he will play on Sunday. Sounds to me like he already has a ready made excuse for when he sucks.
Calling it now "Vince would have played better had he not had an injured thumb".
as long as 90% of his passes are dump offs to chris johnson it's cool with me
Nah, he will just scramble and say the Titans don't have any weapons. If anything he will take carries and plays away from my man Johnson.
