inb4 I told u I was hardcore.
But you would just end up back at the island unless MacGyver ran into Faraday and got the proper bearing brotha!
Also, Rabbits are awesome pets if you carry them around and get them used to people. Mine just chills on the couch while I watch TV or use my laptop. He does try to take my glasses off a lot though.
if you "really" want an exotic looking pet...i suggest a bengal cat. i would advise sticking to an f4-f5. i've worked with wild cats for a few years now and my fiance is a zoologist, and i'll be the first to tell you that a wild animal for a pet is a bad idea. even when they're half-breeds...they're still unpredictable. the bengal cat is a half-breed, but by f4-f5 they're fairly tame. i'd say about 75% or higher of exotic pets end up getting sold back or given away because people aren't really aware of what they're getting into.
hell...our local pet store said they have ferrats returned about 50% of the time within 2 months. that's not an exotic pet...but it is "different". people don't realize they stink and are nocturnal...and it ends up becoming more of a hassle then they want to deal with. i'd advise you to do a good bit of research before jumping into a pet like these...just be sure you know what you need to be aware of. feeding/housing/behavior/smell/do they need companionship (some animals will become depressed and even die without social stimulation).
Chinchillas are nice exotic pets. They're surprisingly trainable, easy to clean (they have mesh cages with news paper at the bottom, and the droppings are like little pellets which you can easily vacuum up) and are entertainingly energetic. I used to let mine run around my room while I played on my playstation, sometimes he'd jump on my lap and just sit watching me play or watching the TV.
They are nocturnal animals so I would suggest either keeping it in a dark room during the day and turning the lights on when you want it to sleep, or keeping it in a different room to your bedroom and playing with it in the evenings/mornings.
The rarer colours (snowy white, albino and light greys) can sometimes have genetic problems, my chinchilla had fast ingrowing teeth, which he couldn't shave down on his own by nibbling on pumice, so once every 4-6 months we'd take him to the vets, and put under anesthetic to have them cut off, however due to it being a small animal he couldn't cope with going under so often and never recovered from the anesthetic.
This aside, they make wonderful companions, like a rabbit but with a bit more personality and playfulness, and can live for as long as 20 years.
Cardboard box and penis you say?
