I'm going for the true ending, already in the next dungeon. Without a guide, my setup already has Loki/Seth/Thor/Melchizedek/Surt heh... excluding the ultimate personas from each arcana, I have the best personas in the game.

Rise's Relaxing Wave is so awesome... I'm on the final day going for the true ending, and it's her last ability... returns about 20sp after each fight, as long as you fight correctly your party will always stay at full SP.

I'm glad she learned it, because I was getting tired of paying 20k yen to the damn fox after every single level.

Started fighting the true final boss... 1st form is a joke, 2nd form has like no HP but is going to be pretty difficult with my non-max SL (if you max an SL with a party member their persona evolves, and they lose the elemental weakness-- except for Teddie and Yukiko..)
Either way, I still think she's way easier than Nyx was.

Guess I'll just grind xp for as long as I can and pray that it'll be enough to take her down.

Just beat the final boss of the true ending on expert. Hard shit was hard, but I dealt with the weaknesses that were still there and just gave Yosuke a +50% Wind damage item and went back to Heaven to get Yukiko the item that halves SP cost... along with a +100sp body piece I found for the MC, the first form took about 2 minutes and the true 2nd form wasn't that terribly difficult either with Trumpeter's Debilitate and with Teddie's Marakunda/Matarunda.

Clocked at 81 hours, but that includes MASSIVE leveling up and farming on the final day, going back and forth to the entrance to use the stores and the velvet room (about 6-7 hours total that wouldn't have even been necessary if I had finished all my party members' SLs.. >.>)
Final party was 86/85/85/85.

edit: also, this is fucked up. The OST does NOT have the true ending's final boss theme, and it's like the best piece in the game.. =/
edit2: I must've skipped it or something earlier... it's on Side B of the OST (so not included with the game, I got it off BCG), song is called The Fog.

Also, I'm still rather early in, but is there any reason for me to level Kanji if I don't plan on using him? Unless there are battles you're forced to fight with him.

Best party is Chie/Yosuke/Yukiko... I used Teddie instead of Chie since I screwed up my Chie's abilities, but yeah... everyone else is useless.

Kanji is a staple in my party. His strength rating is much higher than Chie's, along with the fact that he has Primal Force; which is the strongest single target physical skill in the game. With a crit up accessory, he's a beast with Primal Force.

Cost - 20%
Hits - 1
PWR - 1100
ACC - 90
CRIT - 25

Whereas Chie's strongest attack is God's Hand.

Cost - 22%
Hits - 1
PWR - 800
ACC - 90
CRIT - 15

Kanji's magic rating is really low, but it doesn't matter when all you need is the knockdown.

I also prefer Teddi over Yukiko because Teddie gets access to Party Attack Up/Defense Up; and Amrita (heal all status/party) at lvl61 vs 74 for Yukiko's Salvation. Mediarahan, and Amrita make up for the lack of Salvation; whereas Yukiko has little to nothing to compensate for Teddie's buffs.

It's been going on for a while. BRP is probably the biggest Atlus hater here. Main issue is for every Disgaea and Persona that Atlus and NIS release in the states, there's a few other wacky games like Grim Grimoire (hi2u harry potter done anime style) that come out that make you go wtf. If it wasn't for penny arcade, which loves there games, most people probably would have never heard of them and they would have floundered a long time ago.

Level 12 should be good for Yukiko's shadow. Use Bufu to keep the summoned guy knocked out as much as possible. (Expert difficulty)
