The Holiday Gifts Thread

Last year my family decided to do a universal gift. Each person gets one and its a grab bag style. Everyone picked a card, highest numbers picked a random gift first, and if a lower number liked what a earlier person picked they could "steal" their gift and that person would have to select a new one.

I'm having trouble this year thinking of a good 200$~ (has to be around that) gift idea that could be fun for anybody & stuff that they wouldn't already have.

Anybody have any good idea's they would like to throw out? (no Ipod related stuff).
I was thnking of a Blue Ray player, but 200$ BlueRay players are kinda PoS's

For ppl who pretty much has everything they could want - Christmas is a pretty tedious time cause we all end up spending way too much money on the holiday. So it's just a fun thing we tried last year and it worked well.
And I doubt the "Office" really made it look anything but fun and disastrous

It can actually be fun, if people actually put some effort into their gifts and buy general stuff.

I know what I've buying for everyone I need to buy for, just need to go out and shop for it. South Park Season 7 and some liquor for my brother, splitting a gift for my parents with my brother and his wife (gift certificate to a nice restaurant, I forget what else >.>), chocolates + chocolate sauce for friends of mine, A Clash of Kings for another friend, then something girly (probably bath stuff >_>) for yet another friend.

Thinking of getting my dad a new cellphone/pdaphone, he uses this shitty cell phone and uses a palm for all his medical dictionaries and such... Would be nice to combine them. He tried to do so with a Treo he got on ebay, but it sucked ass and broke....

Mom only wants scrubs for work, which I think is retarded to get as a christmas gift, her birthday is the day after as well so I need to think of 2 things.

Sister I will probably get some horse stuff, maybe some blankets or something, she mentioned a new keyboard/mouse so maybe I'll get myself new ones and give her my old ones(lol) or just get her some decent ones. She's been eying up my G15 and G5 and she has no need for things so sophisticated, so maybe a g11 at most, and that new steelseries mouse that blizzard is advertising looks pretty nice, id give her my g5 if I could get that thing.

The problem is me... wtf do I want. Torn between a 2nd monitor (i used to run dual monitor, but gave my smaller 19inch lcd to parents since their crt broke) so I've been using a single 22inch dell, which isn't enough! Running a 4870x2 and multiboxing wow, that 2nd monitor would be nice, not to mention the new 22inch dells are 1080p 1900x1200's... Or do I want an iPhone... could have the white one bought for me, and the plan would only cost me I think 40-50$/mo (i have a way of only needing to pay for half). Plus if I get an iphone, can give my sister my ipod nano so she'd get the hookup.

Iphone, or 2nd monitor......... gdi. I hate my LG enV... and the monitor is cheaper, could always buy it for myself in a month... not to mention passing up a chance at a free iphone and only half the payment a month is pretty nice (gotta love discounts).

Computer Chair, possibly some Jean Shirts

Mom:
Stock Pot, Aqua Globes, Watch

Sister:
16 Gig USB Stick, 3 1GB Camera Mem Cards, Scent Diffuser, Wine Glasses

Brother-in-Law and his Wife:
360 Controller, Wine Glasses, Wine Basket, Chapter's Gift Card, Blender.

That's all I remember from memory.

For my wife, I got her a some stuff she wanted. I still think I need to get one or two more things because I know she spent more me than I spent on her.
