Solo BCNM

Zahak = Hydra mob, fight 100-95% Then depops

Balhrahn comes in, Hydra depops, You fight Balhrahn.

Has Tizona on, with aftermath effect or at least increased attack. and Expiacion + Salvage blade.

At 1% all DMG = 0, use physical blue spells, melee attacks, breath. Thinks there is a special condition like with THF maat and steal.

Says in bcnm his sword wasn't full power but doublt attack sometimes so thinks he got aftermath or something like that. (may have thought I asked about NM, not sure)

Did Dragunov only use the stat-less Tizona during the fight? Or did he try another weapon as well when all attacks did 0 at 1%? What was the time limit for the BCNM? Did he time out from being unable to do dmg or did he wipe?

And the obvious question (must ask since you didn't say..) - did Dragunov have Expiacion unlocked and try it at 1% for the killing blow?

If you have no tp and suddenly you are doing no damage, you cant get any, so your shit out of luck if the killing blow needs to be with the WS.

I am betting this is a no SJ fight also but would like confirmation

Was my first thought.

I assumed he had it unlocked, but perhaps he died before he could use the WS to kill it.

edit: As said above, if he couldnt get TP, probably answers that. Seems logical.

Totally makes sense why there's Zahak before Balrahn in the dats now. Wow. and BLU ftw, even if he lost to SE trickery.

Lost bcnm battle at 1%, all DMG did 0. Said that all tier4 ZNM items were lost and needed another set.

Skimmed thread, wasn't sure if it was posted or not inbetween all the fanfest testing.

Awesome! Sucks you lose the ZNM items. Hopefully he will get another shot at the BCNM fight again soon. I cant wait!

Yeah, using the unlocked weapon skill is a very good bet.

The weapons were also designed to enhance the abilities of the jobs that equip them... so using the various abilities and 2hr might be a key as well, beyond simply using them to enhance damage, etc.

How did he do solo darkness AND try the blu mythic WS at last 1% w/o the ability to get tp?

Solo darkness then got TP from being hit so much*~ not clear on that but think that is what he meant.

He may misunderstand some of my questions, but his english is pretty good.

That's very very ouch. Then it'd either have to be that dude needed to use a spell, or the BCNM is glitched. Maybe if and when you get another T4 pop set have him call a GM and report what happened in the last fight, so he or she can check if the BCNM is "Working as intended". Pulling a Brigandish Blade @ 1% seems too much of a cockblock.

If he needed a Wightslayer to kill, what would be of the mythic weapons that are two-handed and can't be dual wielded ><?

well solo darkness on BLU is mythic WS > Vertical cleave, so it makes sense that he could of done it at 1%
