Right, but that doesn't quite answer the question I was asking. Do ALL weapons accumulate points or only the ones that were designed to do so in the first place? That differentiation would tell us if stat-less mythics are accumulating points.

Only weapons designed to do so are. My senju had like 32000ish WS points. But it didn´t go up any more. Think there is a cap.

Well, obviously we wouldn't be able to tell about Mid-Completed Mythic Weapons; however no, normal weapons do not even show up in the Weapon Checker log from my experience.

Him soloing a Darkness SC would imply he was at least under one level of Aftermath before he died. But perhaps he needed LVL 3 Aftermath during the finishing blow... assuming it could be stacked 3 times over. The .DAT text I posted above might be a clue too, if Balrahn says such a thing during the fight as well.

If you had to kill him at 1% a special way, (for each job), then it would have to have been by the nyzul WS (which he said he used) or a SC using Chain affinity. (which he did right after the nyzul WS).

If taking the last 1% off was not from the actual WS, a level 3 skillchain, or a blue mage JA. Then I would assume its bugged. If you are hitting for 0 damage, you cannot get TP back, therefore making it impossible to do the WS if you couldnt get TP from 2% HP to the 1%.

If you COULD get TP with him at 1% taking 0 damage, then my final guess would be getting the level 3 aftermath process. (I know you still have the statless weapon w/o aftermath), But try using Expiacion at 300 TP. if you are hitting him for 0 damage and getting no TP back form the 0 dmg hits, then you just got shafted.

it would be funny, if these series of bcnms ended up like AV and PW where noone can ever figure out how to beat them whilst losing your GD triggers every time.

-If you gonna put a secret on a mob, at least make the triggers easier to get.

-If you are gonna put a mob that can be soloed and easy like maat, then you can make the triggers hard to get.

Guess SE doesn't know how to balance out stuff.

Balhrahn comes in, Hydra depops, You fight Balhrahn.

Some questions come to mind...
Why is Zahak there in the first place, and why does he depop? Also, any word if he obtained the key item "Relief of Zahak"? Maybe the full key item is needed.

I dunno... I think once we figure out the 1% BS, that it won't be too bad of a BC. Sure, it's a BLU that did the fight, and BLUs are typically good soloers, but we also need to recognize that he got the mobs to 1% with about 5-10 minutes to spare in the BC on his first attempt.

Once we figure out the 1% nonscense, which is likely, as other people have said, tied to whatever the weapon enhances, the aftermath, or a job's 2hr, then I think this fight will be pretty straightforward and managable.

Losing a PW set is a bitch. Losing a PW set after all the mythic requirements and having to get a new one... Well, let's just say I don't have that kind of emotional fortitude.

Hopefully the guy figures out the gimmick on his next go. I'd hate to see him waste anymore sets or have to wait until someone figures it out to get his mythic... or how many collective sets may be wasted before SE says "it isn't working as intended".

Seriously what the shit. I'm fine with solo BCs and such, but why the cock blocking? At least he doesn't need 30k more rocks.. though I better shut up before SE reads this and thinks it'll be a good idea.

That's ultimately the BS though. SE isn't just into kicking people in the nuts. They prefer to make you do a marathon. If you actually are able to finish there's a big massive guy named Bubba that punches you in the face just because you tried.

Point is SE doesn't have a good grasp on reward vs. effort. They tend to worry firstly whether the grind is sufficient. They seem to think it's better to make things brokenly hard and/or tedious to start. If people bitch enough then they slowly improve the event until it's bearable, a good example would be Einherjar.
