Isn't this sort of a who cares?

So one guy none of us knows is stuck takin pics for a few more weeks and remembers to bring an ic wing- its hardly worth throwing up yer arms like it's another AV.

The guy put alot of effort into this, and took a large hit on losing some items that are pretty hard to get (more than a "few pics"). The ZNM items take alot of work and are shity drops. He worked hard to get to this point and the community as a whole knows (or at least has a good idea) about how to beat the fight now because of him.

Cut him some slack and give him the respect this deserves and realize the shittiness of what he lost.

This is a pretty ungrateful mind-set. The guy basically took a huge hit for the whole FFXI community considering how little we knew before-hand about the BC. He's given everyone a deeper perspective on how the BC works and shed light to another SE lolmob-riddle that would have caught the next guy off-guard otherwise.

Was saying something about 100tp, 200tp, 300tp Lvl1/2/3 aftermath, never tried using higher TP ws.

Are you sure he lost all teir4 items? Maybe there gone from his inventory but he still doesn't need to re-do fight. Kinda like when u do maat or a bcnm, some kind of line says "The ____ has been torn/cracked" or w/e. Just a thought.

Look, I wasn't taking anything away from this guy's accomplishment, and I wish him the best on the next go round- but someone was gonna be "first" and he's obviously got substantial resources to wrangle up another shot at this.

My comment was really over the fact that this 'puzzle' seems largely solve-able at first .dat's glance, and everyone acting like it's AV'esque, i.e. insermountable Sundi-rape, is a bit much.



(And, yes, I've done enough ZNM to recognize losing a PW Key is a giant donko of a cockblock. (It still hurt more seeing that Hara-ate hit the ground this week.. ))

I wish they would be. I truly do. ANYTHING to get the message across that they need to fix the Task/Reward ratio and for the love of God, that time does not = difficulty. Stop already with the arbitrary time sinks please.

Anyone who's come this far with a mythic is obviously a dedicated player and not going to quit any time soon, so why screw them out of more of their free time? All it does is piss off the poor player and doesn't really earn them any more money since I seriously doubt someone would quit soon after getting one of these babies.

Sue for what exactly? Bad game design? Atrocious time sink? Mental pain and anguish?

As entertaining as it would be to see that happen, I don't think so. Simply put, bad game design isn't something you sue a company over, and I would think it would be a little more effective to simply complain...rather loudly.

None shows up in the dats, seems like a "Anything Goes" fight vs him with no pets on your end as long as you can clear the Aftermath dealie.

If the 100-200-300tp theory ends up being the answer, then I see this as being a joke for Sam.

Fight Zahak til he depops and Balrahn spawns.
100% WS on him then Meditate.
200% WS on him then 2hr.
300% WS for CS?

This fight sounds like it'll suck for most mage jobs (especially Brd & Smn, not really Rdm).

Nice to know you get to use your SJ at least. I imagine most will sub Nin though.

Each WS under MS only uses 100% TP so i guess it'd be more like:
Med up TP/save it on Zahak to 300%
Sekkanoki WS Balrahn
WS the other 200%
Meditate/Icky Wing 300% and use that.

2hr for 300% while Zahak is about to depop, Sekka, Meditate + Iwing... but that's a ways off.

I've had a issue with trading the assault log to the rune of release, I took all 5 inwhich none of them (Correct one tried first), would go. (Common sense only one would, took all 5 just incase I took the wrong one out)

Anyone else had issues with the rune of release not accepting the Assault log? Only had this issue since the update.

Would you even have to go 100% WS > 200% WS > 300% WS? It's entirely possible you can skip strait to level 3 and be done. Can anyone who tested weapons at FanFest confirm this? As for the dialog it could end up like the Bahamut v2 fight when you zerg him down faster than he can use his summons and flares and all 3 sets of text would be spewed out at once when you use a 300% WS. On the flip side it is possible they actually want you to build up each level.

I haven't started with assault logs yet, but if I remember hearing correctly you can't trade the log if someone pops the chest? Or was it if someone else pops the rune? Could that be the case?

There is a sort of a "numb" phase the rune won´t accept a trade during the time a chest opens. You can trade before and after without a problem.

The best is you make 5 /trade macros for the books and just spam it till you sure you have it.
