We did 3 Tinnins back to back on Tuesday. All three dropped fangs. Maybe we just got lucky, lol.

It is mainly luck based we have gone 0/11 sometimes and then 3 decide to drop back to back, pretty retarded that they use PW pop items in the mythic process but I guess it won't be that big of a deal till PW is killed. When/if that time ever comes they are probably going to have to consider upping the drop rate

Well now that everyone who's considering to upgrading Mythic will be hoarding their trophies, we'll likely be seeing fewer and fewer PW attempts...like there were many to begin with anyway.

Totally off-topic here, but there are people that cashes in big time on Mythic upgraders.

For eg. Milkyway on Pandemonium. Bumped Alexandrite price from 3 > 3.5k via shouts, while reselling them on his mule's bazaar (called Clothcraft) at 5k each forcing other LEGIT upgraders like Lyramion to bump price up to 3.5k as well.

I hear ya, in my LS went 3/4 on Tinnin 1/9 on Cerb and 0/4 on Khim on the T4 ZNM.

Actually, it's just as likely that by telling people about the scam, people will defend themselves against it by being more bearish.

Price for Alexandrite goes for whatever people will pay. Noone sells them out of generosity. I doubt one person can buy all Alexandrites of a server to control the price.
They used to be 5k+ when new, dropped to 2-3k and slightly go up again now, as more suggestions about how powerful those weapons might be pop up. Maybe the price will even rise more when people who can test them at fanfest prove those suggestions to be true.

Why sell it for 3k if it will sell for 5k in the same amount of time?

I hope you do realize, bazaar shit still gets sold even though they are ABOVE the shout prices in whitegate.

This does not apply just to alexandrites, it goes across the boards to Zilart Currencies as well.

The only reason upgrade loot cost a lot is it can't be sold on AH. If it was sold on AH it would be dirt cheap.

I said in previous post, average was 3k, everyone else was shouting at this price.

When someone jacks up the price even for a short amount of time, they are bound to get majority of the alexandrites for that period, at least till other upgraders MATCH the price or go even higher.

Those that don't have much of a care about burning their money (ie, mostly gilbuyers) will have no problems burning their gil on more expensive alex's.

Myself, I've already built up a crop of friends that sell only to me for reduced prices (2~2.5k). I won't be the first with a mythic, but I will have one for far cheaper.

If you're a fuckin' dumbass with your money, you'll pay 150mil+ for your mythic. If you're smart, you'll pay less than 50mil. There's plenty of Alex out there, that even if there were people buying for 5k+ a piece, there is still plenty left over to be bought for 3k or less.

There's a sucker born every minute, as PT barnum used to say. I'm sure those that want to make money, will find some idiot to buy for artificially inflated prices.

Except that Milkyway is actually working on upgrading the BLU weapon. So it's not in his best interests to jack the price up. If he's selling from his bazaar, it's probably more out of the mentality that if people are stupid enough to buy them for 5k, that's all the more he can turn around and buy for 3k.
