Both Big XII teams, and both of those teams lost. Nebraska was embarrassed by Miami (God that seems like ages ago doesn't it) in a year that Oregon should have played in the NC game. Oklahoma lost a good game in the Sugar Bowl, but I wonder how many of the coaches would have voted for USC if they weren't forced to put LSU #1. I seem to remember LSU and USC offering to play another game at the end of the bowl season, and the BCS big-wigs getting butthurt and saying no f-ing way.

    Buffalo vs Ball State

    Florida vs Alabama

    Missouri vs Oklahoma

    Virginia Tech vs Boston College

    East Carolina vs Tulsa

Obligatory ROLL TIDE. Sportsbook.com now has Florida -10, would bet vast sums of money on Alabama given the spread. Also I think the closest game is going to be VT/BC, it's a really hard one for me to pick this one because every ACC game seems to come down to like 3 or 4 points.

I feel bad for Alabama, especially if they lose a close game. What if Bama loses close and OU gets blown out. Bama should have a very legitimate complaint for getting left out. Oh, the horrors of losing late.

Sadly it does play a HUGE roll. Losing late is disastrous to a team's NC bid. Yay BCS....

its just this simple, whoever wins in the SEC champ game is going to the NC game. Florida will jump up enough to go in for beating the no.1 team in the land.

I think florida wins, defense is much much improved from a year ago, they got more to go to in the run game than handing it off to harvin with demps.

I lol'd at them wearing red and sacrificing a Timeout. It's like "We don't need timeouts to beat you."

He expected it to be two, so pete was like "we need just 1 timeout to beat you...".

You can't solve the Big 12's problem with head to head matchups.

That said, NC game will be Oklahoma vs. Florida. At least, that's what I hope it will be.
The thing is Texas beat both teams in the Big 12 championship game. Texas Tech didn't. Texas Tech barely beat Texas, on a crazy last second play. Of the top 3 teams in the Big 12 Texas is easily the best on both sides of the ball. Tech and OK have great offensives but their defense is weak. OK state scored 40+ on the Sooners.

Oklahoma also played Oklahoma State in Stillwater. Did Texas? No. Did Texas Tech? No. That team is tough at home; they're tough on their last game of the year; they're tough against their in-state rival with a chance to ruin OU's season. Oh yeah, Zac Robinson and Dez Bryant played their best games of the season.

OU's defense isn't the best in the nation, (or even the best in their division, I know) but give OSU credit where it's due, instead of just ripping on OU. Oklahoma State is by far the best 3-loss team in the nation, and they will ruin the unfortunate team they play in their bowl game.

I dunno about "by far," I agree they're the best 3-loss team but Oregon and Georgia are pretty damn good.

I think Oklahoma State is the best 3 loss team in the nation... though having that isn't something you'd want to run around saying. "WE ARE THE BEST 3 LOSS TEAM OH YEAAAAH." But yeah.. I think Oklahoma State and Oregon could both run all over UGA's previously called stout rush D. (I say previously because of GT obviously.)

Okay yeah, 'by far' may be a bit extreme. I like Oregon and Georgia Tech going into this bowl season too. I just wanted to make the point that Oklahoma giving up 41 points in a road game against this talented Oklahoma State team isn't really indicative of having a weak defense. It could be better, yes, but I think it'll be good enough for them with their offense.

To be honest? It's what Texas Tech used to be except with better athletes. No need for a true, lockdown defense because they can score 50-60 in their sleep.

I'm a Gator so I'm really excited about this SEC game tomorrow. But, I'm also really worried that Harvin is going to be out with his ankle injury, he's my favorite player on the team by far and a huge asset to their team. Sure they can most definitely win with him on the bench recovering, but it won't be nearly as exciting. <3 #1! Go Gators!

I'd bet money on Oklahoma State against anyone outside their *division* other than Florida or USC.

OSU vs OSU would probably be a pickem. I think OSU vs Alabama would probably favor Alabama. Penn State vs OSu would probably be a damn close spread too. Depends on the field as well, I'd probably take OSU at home against any of them, but on a neutral field I wouldn't be so confident.
