While the OP seems to have... issues... I somewhat agree with the premise.

Botting of any kind is retarded. It's the same as using RMT. I am proud to say that I have never used any third party program, and I do not condone it's use amongst my friends. As far as I am aware, none of them do.

Some of us have grown fairly fond of our characters and would rather not see them with an LM-17

aside from that, I have no problem with 3rd party programs, hell even bots, as long as you arent being douchebags about it. You wanna fishbot, that doesnt effect me in the least, go for it. Apradar, spellcast whatever as long as your not screwing with my enjoyment of the game.

The times I have a problem is when people gloat about how awesome their bots are and how they claim 99% of every ground hnm. Congratulations! Do you feel better about yourself now? But to each his own... you cant really do anything about it except hope one day a GM will show up with the ID of nidhogg and instaban anyone who tries to claim him. But when karma comes around to bite you in the ass and you claim like 50 fafnirs in a row and bitch that you didnt get any ridills, that makes me happy too. I have just about everything I want from kings and the rest I can get from Odin. Im glad to be out of that hellhole.

Anyway, thanks for windower/spellcast and all the other great shit youve brought to the ffxi community Aikar.

However, the latter is the correct one. That is how SE intended the game to be. By not following this, you take the legs out of any argument you can make against SE.
