Check the fuse in the fuse box.
Check the fuse in the fuse box.
Thanks. I'll report back tomorrow because my manual isn't with me. Any other likely causes will be greatly appreciated.
Most likely a fuse, check the interior fuse box. It's on the passenger side on the left kick panel. If it's not a fuse, then it's something like a burnt out wire and good luck finding the problem. I have to find out where the problem is for my dome light.
Thanks. It's almost certainly a fuse as I was messing with them to get my horn to work a couple months back. I forgot to report in like I said I would because the problem totally slipped my mind until this very second.
Started to take interest in cooking. I've been learning the terms and trying various methods of preperation trying to get a feel for the heats and end results. So far I've been preparing chicken by grilling pan frying, sauteing, while using different fats, marinades, spices, ect and picking up some recipes online. I'm satisfied with the results but I'm unsure how to expand my horizons.
Is there any good advice, tips, resources, or materials for an aspiring chef, someone who basically lived on quick 'n easy stuff until last year? I'm not so much looking for recipes as little tests or milestones... at least something to give me a little more direction.
So some of friends called me paranoid because I had a hunch something was going on behind my back, but I couldnt really prove it...turned out I was right. Does that still make me paranoid, or are they all assholes?
Baking milestone: Make an angel food cake and a gold cake:

The ingredients are cheap. If you succeed, you get two delicious cakes. If your angel food cake doesn't stay risen, you still get one delicious cake probably (gold cake is hard to fuck up). Either way, the ingredients are really cheap and they compliment each other because they use opposite parts of the egg. PS. Beware/bring them in to work/invite friends over because they're about a billion calories each.
Savory milestone:
In my opinion, savory cooking is all about the sauces/flavoring you put on stuff. Anyone can bake a chicken, make rice, etc. but what really makes it taste restaurant-grade is the sauce/flavoring. Try this one and see how it goes:

You can swap rabbit for chicken without making many changes, though rabbit might be a novel experience too. If you don't have shallots, use onions, etc. Try to make things with a variety of sauces/flavorings and pay attention to how they work.
Actually angel food cakes are NOT a billion calories each. The whole damn cake is only like 900 calories (you have minimal sugar, some flour, and no fats). Now if you drown it in toppings, that's a different story. But my angel food cakes with just almond/orange/vanilla flavors are very light and tasty. I grill angel food slices and then lay a few pieces of grilled pineapple over top. MMhhgood.
edit: to be fair some recipes for angel food are a bit bigger than the recipe that I have used. Even then, 150 calories for a slice is hardly on par with a cheesecake or chocolate cake with icing, etc.

watch it all.
meeh, good a place as any for my question.
Anyone know if there's a limitation on how long college grades are viable? Like I've been going to CCs off and on since around 07. I recently checked my credits at my current CC and it only shows 2 classes from a previous CC, which are math and English. Is it just because those are placement courses so they have to show those? Have I lost all those credits I transferred? I've been taking vet tech classes for the past year at this CC, cuz it's the only one around that offers such a program. Any help would be much appreciated. Kinda in panic mode, and I won't be able to see a councilor until at least Tuesday, and even then dunno if they'll let me in even if I wait.
ty for a response. Forgot to add I went to a councilor before I went in. Made sure my classes were all applicable/transferable.
It will depend on the requirements of the institution where you are going to graduate. But it sounds like you are having an issue with the grades transfering. This is determined by the admissions office and you can appeal it there if you think they aren't accepting credits you think they should. In the end, each institution is different.
So yeah, I'm looking for ideas for my situation before I go waltzing into Wells Fargo and listening to them what they think I should do for what's in their best interest.
I just completed a cross-country move from Florida to California. Quite literally the day before I packed up my car, Wells Fargo tells me that there's fraudulent activity on my debit card and that it's probably been stolen (I think I posted this in this very thread, actually).
It's made me realize that I use my debit card for way too much interaction online. I have a lot of money (well, all of it really) in this account. So I wanted an additional layer of security.
I signed up for a prepaid Visa that was supposed to let me transfer money between my bank account and the prepaid. I wanted this Visa to be my exclusive, "all the shit I do online/locally that requires money/Visa only" Visa. It would only have a small load ($1k or so), and would be used for stuff I really loathe, like using Venmo or Paypal. That way, if that card got compromised, no need to panic. The load was small anyway, and they don't have access to my big primary account.
But Wells Fargo is not allowing me to transfer my money into this account, and I have a pretty good feeling it's going to be this way for a lot/all prepaids I might get my hands on. Nor is Venmo allowing me to withdraw my funds into it (Fuck Venmo. Seriously guys, don't fucking use Venmo. ever. Their shit, like most unregulated banks, isn't accountable to anyone). So I have this useless prepaid now sitting on my desk, with my situation not having changed at all.
So I'm looking for suggestions on what to do. I'd still like that extra layer of security.
A few more misc facts that will clear up some more things:
-My credit card is American Express. I love my American Express, and no I am not willing to get rid of it. I am also not willing to start a second card.
-I don't want to open a secondary account, especially with Wells Fargo. My primary account is a combination investment/checking account. My direct deposit goes into this account expressly for the purpose of reinvesting excess money I have from month to month. I also write checks from this account (rent/insurance/etc.). In other words, the majority of money that is in this account has to stay here.
-I really hate giving out my personal information in any way, particularly giving things access to my banking account (see my venomous hatred for PayPal and Venmo).
Doesn't Wells Fargo have their own prepaid card?
Anyone here have a Bobopedic mattress and can give me a short review on it? I like to hear reviews from people who don't think they're fucking critics, unlike all the websites I have been to.
