As a result from FF discussion in a thread, I've been wanting to revisit stores. Anyone know if they make Final Fantasy 1-12 in novel form? I really don't want to go back and replay them especially some of the later ones. I always got distracted from the story by sidequests/games/leveling (11 being the worst). If not, does anyone know of a site where I can copy/paste text and create the book myself?

You could try looking at some Let's Play walkthroughs. Depending on who is doing them, some will transcribe major parts of the story if you just want to follow it that way. I did that for FFT since I rage-quit that game like 10 years ago and never touched it again.

Would a factory sealed bag of chips attract bugs?

Friend lost a bag in their basement (which is larger than my damn house) and have bug problems, wondering if that's the source or if it's something else

A bag of chips can easily attract pests and if the pests are big enough they can chew through the bag and then it is open to all the other smaller pests so even a sealed bag of chips can become a major problem.

When I worked at subway, we used to put the chip rack in the fridge for that very reason. Just because its sealed doesnt mean insects and pests wont detect the aroma.

I'm looking to sell off some old video games and consoles and looking for advice. What sites have people had luck selling such things? Ebay? Craigslist? Something else? Do people have more luck selling the consoles and games as a bundle, or selling things separately? I'm doing this mainly to make room, not trying to make a quick buck so can take some time to sell it properly.

So far I'm thinking about selling my NES, SNES, Genesis, PS1, and Xbox along with some PS2 and PS3 games. I'm not expecting big bucks for any of this stuff with all of the remakes, best of collection, PSN/Wii re-releases, etc.

Where are you located? My buddy (We're in the D.C.-area) is a game collector, mostly of NES/SNES/Xbox but he has a small Genesis collection as well. He may be interested, not sure if he'd want to do a mail-only transaction as he usually drives to pick up from buyers though.

You'd probably do well selling some of the stuff on here in the Buy-Sell-Trade section. I know people are always looking to buy nostalgic game stuff

I'm not asking this in the Game of Thrones thread because I want to avoid spoilers. Anyone know when season 3 is going to be released on iTunes in the U.S.? I got super hyped ready to buy it today and got cockblocked because its only available on the Australian version of iTunes. Sigh. I just want to give them my money and watch the show.

So for trips for the most part, my husband and I have always just shared a suitcase with one carry-on for random stuff (and a laptop bag).

In a few weeks we're heading to CT for two weeks and I really think we need more. Not only do I want a suitcase for my daughter (and one that will last her awhile as she gets older and her clothes get bigger). As well, there is no doubt in my mind my parents are going to want to buy her a fuckton of stuff so I'd like a better sized carry-on than what I normally use. (We're flying Southwest btw.)

Trying to look at bags though and I feel like I'm at a loss. Baggage sets tend to be smaller, but it seems like I could get a 5 piece set (with the largest being 27"~ then each bag fitting inside the other) for the same price as a single suitcase that's 29"~. If I could guess our current suitcase is probably around the 27" mark and has sufficed for two of us without any extra shit. However, I don't think we'd use all the pieces in a 5-set, and I think individual ones seem to have more pockets n' things. I can also imagine the sets tend to be not as well made, but our suitcase was originally part of a three-piece set and has lasted us for about ten years now.

Any thoughts?

Oh, and I'd rather not spend TOO much money. I'd like to do no more than $200 if possible. I saw some crazy shit at Macy's for like $500 for one bag and I think that's insane.

[edit] I am also not nearly against gaudy luggage fyi as they make them easy to spot hahaha. Our current suitcase is brown and god finding it in the luggage conveyer belt is a nightmare.
