Married then child. We've been together for 6 years. Married nearly three years. I made the mistake of getting married when we don't have squat to build on; which is a poor gamble on my part but that's another story. We've always been under a lot of stress financially and socially(No job or degree); which has then translated into marital stress. I was playing with the odds stacked against me. We never had any room to really grow and she just grew tired of always feeling ignored because we didn't share the same passions. We can get along on a base level, but fall apart once we get into more serious matters.
And she isn't that bad, but she hates taking pictures. I can show you some older photos that due the right amount of justice, but they're three+ years old.
Spoiler: show
Around 4 months. Yeah, there is a MINIMUM of six month wait in California.
Apparently there's a dude in USA being hunted by the FBI with top secrets, etc, who has fled the country and is now is Russia -- I was surprised no one made a topic on this guy in general/poopdeck, does no one care/worry about this? Or is the media making this to be a bigger thing than expected.
It's in the NSA thread

Ah thanks, didn't realise it was slotted there/mentioned there. Thought it was just some topic about security/web.
No worries. He might be talked about prior to where I linked, but that's just where I am in thread.
Anyone know a way for me to get $1000 by Friday, legally? Basically a series of fuckups led to my VA benefits not going through and my school payment won't come through in time. I have busted my ass and don't want to withdraw.
I applied for a loan with my bank and USAA. My credit is decent (650 score) but they were denied. I am at the limit for student loans. (Trying to pay those down.)
Need suggestions.
That is a lot of money in a short period of time. =/ I assume you've already tried asking friends/family? Not quite sure there are many legal ways that quickly without some form of loan/payday advance thing or crazy luck with some form of gambling.
i would suggest that in the future you get some Over-draw protection. It ends up functioning like a short-term loan. Mine is set up for $500, and I'm pretty sure my parents have one for $1000. Basically, any time my checking account goes below $0, they automatically transfer $300 into it. If it goes below 0 again, its the remaining $200, but it would be $300 if I had a higher amount left on the protection. The interest rate isn't great, but it's no western sky. then i just pay down the balance on my ODP as soon as possible, and it resets. that way i don't get nailed by a huge collection of over-draw fees, etc, and it can help in situations like this.
as for what to do right now... money mutual is the only one i can think of, but i dunno if their rates are as bad as western sky or not. if they are, pay that shit down ASAP or else youll end up paying several dozen times what you borrowed.
That's the problem with one of those quick cash/pay day advance places, their rates are shit and they don't give you a lot of time to pay them off. (Like Amscot, for example, gives you two weeks. Not helpful.)
I was more or less looking for some ways to actually earn it, short of prostitution I'm not really gonna have luck in that regard I guess. I haven't got anything to pawn, no home to draw equity from.
Overdraft protection at my bank requires you to link a credit card to it. I don't have a credit card, so that's out.
is there any way to play "local multiplayer" 3ds games (like monster hunters 3) online (not really online, just coop with a friend) with a pc if both player use w-lan, is there and programm/trick or no chance?
So, next Friday is when we go on the plane....with a one year old. Really trying to not be one of "those people," so I'm wondering if anyone has any tips/tricks? We got her an ipod with a bunch of stuff to distract her.
No idea where we should sit on the plane. (We are flying southwest so basically we'll get priority since we have a baby, and we just go on the plane and pick a spot.) Near the bathroom? Do they even have changing tables in there? (I am one of those that does everything possible to not use a public bathroom, so I've never actually been inside a plane's one). Or do you just like, change them right in the seat?
My biggest worry is she definitely likes to crawl around which isn't going to be an option. ;_;
You will be one if those people regardless, the ear popping is gonna have her screaming bloody murder.
Best advice I can give is give her (if your doctor OKs it) some dramamine. It should make her drowsy and also prevent any motion sickness at the same time.
The bathrooms are super small, and I don't recall changing stations. Limit food before the flight if possible, and do a change just before you board.
What I'm reading makes some sense. Instead of sitting near the bathroom, sit behind the bulkhead because then she can't kick people's seats (god that's annoying so glad I came across that).
Ya ear popping will be an issue. Some say feed her a bottle during take off and landing as that should help. I didn't think about dramamine. I'll give the doctor a call, thanks!
I love first time parents. The things they worry about. From an immediate family of 10 with over 15 nephews and nieces my best advice is to try to learn not to worry too much about what other people think about your child's behaviour.
Sure its all cute and not a big deal now since your child is only 1, but if your child becomes devilspawn as a toddler-young child they will quickly pick up on how their behaviour influences yours and manipulate it if you let it (e.g., child having temper tantrum at the shops...if you try to placate her because you dont want her screaming and making a show she'll quickly remember that).
Take it from me, the crying /temper tantrums and the looks of daggers from people passing you by will soon fade and not even register on your attention.
Random Question: Alot of family shit keeps happening lately at home and none of them have a landline for me to have free international landline calls. So what ends up happening is me calling their cell phones on skype for 20c a minute. I cant think of an alternative that is as convenient for me and them (I cant expect them to do anything because they are lazy so-and-sos). Anyone call international cell/mobiles alot?
