How does the aquatic crustacean Gammarus get transferred between disconnected bodies of water?

Most common cause of introduction of non-native crustaceans is by ballast water. There could also be introduction of fish (stock or bait) that have the crustaceans attached. Also, they could be attached to sediment on hulls of sport boats that are used in multiple water areas. Those are the main transference techniques that I recall.

What about more obscure ways? I found them in a small ornamental pond where I know none of that happened.

Could be someone had them in a fish tank and decided to dump them wherever was convenient. I think they're also sometimes used as fish food or bait.

Could have been attached to some of the flora used to decorate the pond.

If water fowl use the pond at all, the might have become attached to them.

What type of substrate was used in making the pond? If any sand or rocks were taken from other aquatic systems, the crustaceans could be introduced that way.

I can't remember this economic term, its like the central thing that the economy feeds off of. In the US it was first the railroads, then the car, and now the computer. Just cant remember the damn term, anyone know? Annoying me, I want to say multiplier effect but that isn't quite right from what I see.

Yeah so, my back passenger side tire looks deflated or something. Should I just go to a gas station and put some air in it or just go to a mechanic and have them play with it. I did, a while back, have a flat tire caused by a nail or something, which was patched up. Maybe it's the same tire and the seal is loosening up, I don't know. If anyone does suggest going to a mechanic, do you have any idea what they'd charge?

Why not go to a tire place? They are usually better/faster/cheaper than a regular mechanic for things that are tire specific. Try Walmart or LesSchwab or any of the other big tire store chains.

Unless that is what you meant by "going to a mechanic". In which case, carry on.

Lookin for a good anime to watch. Would like a few suggestions. Just finished watching black lagoon, since it's a little more recent. I'm kind of in the mood for some newer mecha ones, preferably gundam, but I'm good with some regular action/drama ones as well.

    Macross Frontier would fit.

If you can, take it back to the place where the patch was put in. If you still have the invoice, the might be able to re patch it for free. Tire shops have machines that pressurize your tire and check of leaks (when it's off your car), so they can tell pretty quickly.

Alternatively, you might just need to get a new valve stem cover. Sometimes rocks or other debris can open the nozzle and release the pressure while you drive.

I would say just fill them up to the required PSI and see what happens from there. You can usually hear hissing from the leak when you've pumped the tires back up.

Uhh... Evangelion Rebuild is pretty fucking sweet but the final part isn't out yet.
If you haven't seen Durarara! please do, it's amazing.
Seirei no Moribito has been making the rounds for a while now but I know there are some people who still haven't seen it (for shame). Also amazing.
Kurenai looks pretty good from the one or two episodes I did see. Very realistic/dramatic. Follows the same line as Moribito I think...

TTGL Definitely (Tenga Toppa Gurren Lagann)

My personal favorite drama that also happens to include giant robots is Bokurano.

I've already seen TTGL. I have been wanting to see evangaleon, never seen them. I've heard the original series has a horrible ending, but that's all I know about it lol. Should I watch the series, and are there any movies to it I should watch?

Eva is a love/hate series. Everyone should see it, though, if nothing else due to its massive influence.

Watch ep1-24 -> End of Evangelion (movie) -> 25+26, then Rebuild, if you want, but it won't be finished for another 1-2 years. There's a "Death and rebirth" movie, but it's just a summary + first half of EoE, so I'd skip it.

It also seems to have more hentai than every other series put together.

The "normal" ending of eva is only bad because it lacks context. EoE fixes that, if you're paying attention. Once you have context it makes those last two episodes much more interesting in canon.

I'm fucking dying to see 3.0 and 4.0, 2 was such a cliffhanger FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU.
