Should I sell my last 2 guitars? I haven't played in god knows how long. One is a Jackson DKMG Dinky with EMG's & Floyd Rose trem. from a few years back in perfect condition, the other is an epiphone zakk wylde less paul with the bullseye.. a little beat up.

I think I might be able to get $400 total for both, but is that even worth it? Am debating bringing them with me tomorrow when I go up north since I'll be 10min from a guitar center. Got a small vox amp left too I could bring.

If you are just going to spend the money on useless shit then I would have to say no. On the other hand if you are going to spend it on blow and hookers then why aren't you on ebay yet!

But seriously, what would you be spending the money on?

I wasn't going to sell them just so I could spend the money. It would just be to have the extra money since I haven't played in probably 2 years.

I'd say sell the Jackson and keep the epiphone in case you might want to play it. The one thing I know for a fact is that a week after you sell them both, you'll want to play some guitar.

You could go to the Hard Rock, I suppose. There's not really much around there that isn't fast food, though. Crown Diner is, well, a diner. Depends on how nice you want the place to be. No idea about in the stadium, haven't been since it opened.

Quick backstory:

I live in an apartment complex. Parking is a constant problem. I got home from work Sunday morning at 3AM and was intending to park in the garage only to find that the door was broken (again) and couldn't be opened with either the remote or the key. Since there were no other spaces, I parked out front in the "Future Resident Parking," where we're allowed to park as long as we move during business hours (9-6). Sunday morning I woke up late and got ready for work, forgetting about where my car was parked. When I went to go to work, there was an obnoxious sticker on my driver's side window saying my car was going to be towed.

A bit of CA law:

22658. (a) The owner or person in lawful possession of private property, including an association of a common interest development as defined in Section 1351 of the Civil Code, may cause the removal of a vehicle parked on the property to a storage facility that meets the requirements of subdivision (n) under any of the following circumstances:

(1) There is displayed, in plain view at all entrances to the property, a sign not less than 17 inches by 22 inches in size, with lettering not less than one inch in height, prohibiting public parking and indicating that vehicles will be removed at the owner’s expense, and containing the telephone number of the local traffic law enforcement agency and the name and telephone number of each towing company that is a party to a written general towing authorization agreement with the owner or person in lawful possession of the property. The sign may also indicate that a citation may also be issued for the violation.

(2) The vehicle has been issued a notice of parking violation, and 96 hours have elapsed since the issuance of that notice.

(3) The vehicle is on private property and lacks an engine, transmission, wheels, tires, doors, windshield, or any other major part or equipment necessary to operate safely on the highways, the owner or person in lawful possession of the private property has notified the local traffic law enforcement agency, and 24 hours have elapsed since that notification.

(4) The lot or parcel upon which the vehicle is parked is improved with a single-family dwelling.

According to this, if there's no sign posted, they have to wait 96 hours before towing, correct? We called to confirm that there's no sign...and they were planning on towing my car the same day.

Now, I realize it's my fault for not getting up before 9 to move my car, but is it unreasonable of me to hope that the office would at least give me a call to ask what's going on before scheduling my car to be towed? I'm now stuck with this sticker blocking my view out my window and am unable to peel it off. :/

They're not going to take the time to look up your tag number and figure out which resident it is, so no, unlikely you'll get a call. I asked the same thing when my truck was towed. And my truck was towed from my apartment complex the day I left for vacation, I was gone a week with absolutely no means to get it back, and I got stuck with nearly $400 in fees for it being "stored" at the towing company. I had mountains of proof that I was not around (tickets, itineraries, eyewitnesses) and I still didn't get a cent of that money back. Towing companies are evil. And it was towed for a bullshit reason, to boot. I'm still sore about that.

If I were you, I'd be glad you got to your car when you did and count yourself lucky, honestly. But I would never expect anyone to call you when they're in a position to make money off of you by you not being aware. They were pretty much praying you wouldn't come out for your car.

Take it to a car wash and get it soaked, the sticker will come off. That's what I had to do to mine. Or just hose it down for a while.

First apartment, people next to me had a junker in the space. Thing was covered in dust, they where working on it in the lot against rules yadda yadda. Management didn't dust off the window, jackass was able to take sticker off and stick it to my window w/most of the glue still active somehow. When the tow company came, they almost towed my car. Lucky me I lived just above it so I could hear the alarm go off. Stupid hillbilly tow driver just said he was told to 'get the one with the sticker', in a lot that was labeled. Shitty thing is I probably would have had to fight tooth and nail to get the apt complex to refund me if it had been towed.

tl;dr - Unless you can prove it was towed illegally, be prepared to be assrapped by the towing co. If your apt's policy is 'tow first, ask questions later' your SOL.

Haven't eaten any meat for the last 7months (still eat fish) and everyone at work and around me can understand excluding red meat but not chicken and bugs me to eat chicken.

I am really craving a chicken parm sub and buffalo wings tonight. Should I put chicken back on the menu? I'll admit it is becoming difficult to diet and workout without lean meats and more protein options.

Seems dumb, but idk. As some back story a lot of red meats and pork I either get sick from or am just unable to eat so I dropped meat altogether.
