fish is meat. Just not red meat. Also if red meat and pork cause you issues with your stomach but chicken doesn't cause you discomfort then why exclude chicken too? On a side note don't listen to your coworkers they don't have a right to bug you about what you eat at all. It is up to you to eat what you want.

Try reintroducing chicken into your diet slowly only if it doesn't cause you stomach issues.

Has anyone bought a replica watch from a site like precisionreplicas.com? I haven't been able to find any real reviews for the site or if it is even legit.

Ib4 wop tells me not to be a poser and pony up $10k for a real rolex.

Hoping anyone could help me remember the title of a book I can provide vague details about... Was a collection of short stories, author was some sort of hispanic.... maybe

One of the short stories was about a library that had every possible combination of letters and characters so people would search endlessly for the book that contained the story of their lives. Another was about a lottery that assigned every job and position in a village or tribe randomly to people, like being a janitor one week then rocket scientist next.

@Boyee If you're starting to reintroduce meats into your diet after a hiatus, I would probably go with cooking your own meat instead of getting the stuff at a restaurant. However, that's with the caveat that you would buy free-range or at least not nasty, factory meat (which is what most restaurants that aren't pretty ritzy are getting from their purveyors, especially with the case of chicken). That being said, simple cooking methods like oven roasting would be a good way to go to reintroduce. Get some bone-in breasts or thighs, rub with olive oil, salt, and pepper and roast in the oven until done; seriously delicious and should be easy to digest without any heavy sauces.

If it's digestion issues, I'm interested in your difficulty with pork. Modern pork's pretty lean, so things like pork chops or a loin roast would be pretty easy on the system I would think. If you ever feel like an experiment with pork, I would suggest a bone-in port loin roast. Buy from a butcher if you can, a 4-bone roast shouldn't cost more than $15 and provide 4-6 servings. Simple oil/salt/pepper/garlic rub and cook until 145; amazing meal and most of the fat will render off during cooking, plus you can just cut off the gristle if it bothers you.

Would you really be willing to spend almost $200 dollars on a watch you know is fake? You can get a pre-owned Rolex for as little as $2,500 if not less.

Eh, any fake name-brand watches will have the kind of movement you would get in a $75 department store watch, and they certainly won't have the heft of a watch made with real precious metals. If it were me, I would spend the $200 at a department store or somewhere else on a non-high end watch. If you're driving around in a Geo Metro, a Rolex or a Patek Phillipe on your wrist is a pretty instant 'fake' giveaway, if you catch my drift.

As an alternative, antique shops and jewellery shops usually have an interesting selection of watches, not to mention watch/timepiece repair shops.

So, I found my brother's "broken" PSP-2001 model. The only thing wrong with it is the battery, which can easily be replaced. Anyways, I want to mod it out and play my old PS1 games (besides ones I have purchased on PSN on my PS3 already). Anyone have instructions or a url to a good website for this?

edit: battery's broken because he's a dumbfuck and tried to mod it himself. He's twelve and doesn't know the difference between his ass and a coffee cup.....

last edit: It's the "slim" PSP-2001 model. Serial #: HU3851875. The silverish color one that came bundled with the Daxter game.

Watching some people's court and she pulled the "can't make a contract with a minor" excuse (her son bought a car).

Now, the car was sold as is, there was nothing signed or any type of physical contract. Isn't that the same thing as if he went to a garage sale and bought a table?

At what point does something just auto become a "contract"? once it costs X amount of money?

Was the guy who bought it making payment on the car, or did he pay the full price? If he was making payments, think that would be enough to count as a "contract"

He paid in full. It was only $900 and it was a fucked up car (though as is) which is why his parents went to sue to get the money back.

The little shit is fucked. No contract was made. He made a valid purchase. What do they think as-is means?

    Watch question.

I have a swiss army watch with a leather band. I am thinking of putting a metal band on it, can I do that? The swiss army site shows that there are metal bands for that collection, but their bracelets are like 200$ and obviously I'm not spending that much.
