I was doing laundry/cleaning, it was the first commercial of the break and I had my hands full. The music caught my attention.

And yes, you can xfer from an old 360 to a new one using the same xfer cable that came with the larger hard drives. It's 20$

Does the old xbox have to be turned on to do this?

No you detach the old drive, and plug the old hard drive into it and plug it into a USB port on the new box.
It's been a year since I did it, but you can either transfer specific files or everything. If you do everything, it formats the new drive and copy/pastes the old. So be careful with that.

Am I dying? So after thanksgiving I was on my way home and my tonsils swelled up like balloons. Veerrrryyyy painful. I get home and try to sleep but unable to do so due to discomfort. At like 11am I went to pee and got real dizzy and passed out and hit my head on the tub. After my roomate managed to wake me up and helped me get into bed, I started to ache, obviously lol. That was yesterday and my head still hurts after taking alleve over the course of about 20 hours. Now I feel really hot and can't get comfortable. I figured I was dehydrated when I passed out and have been drinking water since then. Obviously I should see a doctor, but not sure how serious it is. I am pretty poor

Ah yes, those are the common symptoms of an oxygen allergy. I recommend seeing your doctor before you take another breath.
