    I wouldnt say shes hot, but shes quite attractive, her body looks wonderful too, and shes quite nice, as well as seems intelligent. But yeah, having a gdamn kid adds a whole shit ton of baggage D;

Edit: When I FBd her name, the kid was her pic.
I dont mind kids, id love to have some of my own one day, but it's just seems like it's a lot of extra baggage to get tossed into a deal package like that. Who watches the kid if we go do something, limited to certain days/times, what of the father (the kid looks mixed, so ill lead you to your own sterotypes), does he pay childsupport, does he still wanna be around, etcetcetc.. but I guess a call to find all the stuff out wouldnt hurt.

TBH im not even sure if I want to pursue something with her regardless, as my heart is still with someone else ;/

You have dry skin, buy a electric shaving kit, theyre like $30, or try a friends to see if that works first.

However, during random chitchat she mentions indirectly she has a 1y/o son.

    What would you do?
Buddy of mine had something like this happen. He pretty much told the girl he refuses to ever meet the kid until t least 6 months down the line, because he would not want to meet the kid and then disappear from his/her life.

It's honestly a bullshit excuse, but one that the girl can't really say no to because it would seem bad on her part if she did.

I brush from the bottom up, but I pull the snow to the side of my car so it falls on the ground and doesn't stay on my hood or roof. If you get one of the long ice brushes, you can brush sideways pretty easily. I think you may need to reevaluate your choice of ice scraper/brush.

I'm cheap, and yea I've seen brushes that are T-shaped for that kind of action, but that makes sweeping the windows and shit a lot weirder for me.

My last pair of Pioneer headphones sort of disintegrated after about 2 months of use and assorted falls.

Looking for the big DJ style headphones and not the wee inner-ear types.
Everything I hear from "audiophiles" (read: jerkoffs) says that skullcandy sucks. Even though I just referred to those people as jerkoffs, I think they know what they're talking about. I'm thinking about getting some $20-50 range Sennheisers, they have good quality and every pair of Sennheiser's I've tried have been pretty damn comfy. I used to have a pair of Grado headphones, which were top notch quality but not very fun to wear

    Re: Nekonaruto

Try an old-school double-edged safety razor. Honestly, if you're committed to a wet shave then this is the best thing you can do for yourself. Sure the razor itself will probably cost $60-100 for a mid-range model (you want one where you can adjust the blade angle/exposure), but as long as you clean it and keep it in good shape it'll last the rest of your life. Good blades are easy to get and cost about $0.12-$0.50 a blade. If I'm actually shaving 5 days a week with mine I'll get at least a week or more out of a single blade - compare that to $4/cartridge for a Mach3. Not to mention you'll be reducing waste too.

Compliment this with proper shaving cream applied with a shaving brush (badger hair is awesome, but those cheapo $10 at the drug store will do to start) and not only should you find yourself with a more comfortable shave, but it's a rather luxurious way to start the day. Personally I prefer either Trufitt & Hill or Taylor of Old Bond Street for my shaving creme - both lavender and rose oil ones are great for sensitive skin like ours. While you might balk at $30 for a tube or tub of creme, they'll last months, are way better at moisturizing your skin and softening your beard than Edge foam or whatever, and will cost less in the long run (less packaging waste too). Plus you'll smell way better too. (My girlfriend loves the Taylor of Old Bond Street English Rose shave creme I use now.)

The thing is, if you've got sensitive skin, or coarse hair that grows close to the skin instead of out (like mine on my neck, grr) you'll never look like those baby-faced actors on TV (the stage makeup helps too >_>). While that is a bit discouraging, here's two things to keep in mind:
    1) Shaving with a double-edged razor takes time and practise to get it right. Keep the blade pretty concealed when you start because these razor blades are ridiculously sharp - they put the latest offerings from Gillette et. all to shame.
    2) The key to a comfortable and good-looking shave is to think beard reduction not beard removal. There's this market-driven demand for men to look as though they have no facial hair at all after a shave. This leads to shaving too hard and goving over spots too many times, causing razor rash, ingrown hairs and general discomfort. Those bleeding spots that aren't caused by cuts are probably caused by cutting off the little bumps that form over ingrown hairs or razor bumps. I get that frequently myself.

Lastly, check out sites like Straight Razors - Safety Razors - Wet Shaving & Grooming Supplies There are quite a few dedicated to older shaving methods out there with lots of info on products, techniques, and where to buy your kit.

    Good luck!

    Thanks Seph.

Now a real question! I'm really interested in an answer for this one too.

Is it against the "law" to give a cop the finger or yell some random string of profanities in their face if they harass you?

Here's one I haven't been able to figure out. . . is there a Ps3 trophy card that auto-updates with synced information from your actual PSN? All the ones I've found have you entering in the trophies manually

While in most jurisdictions, disrespecting an officer by swearing at them, making rude gestures, or spitting on them will get you a ticket or time infront of a judge, that's not always the case.

The two solitudes of swearing: In Quebec, the f-word's not so bad

This is a pared-down version of an article that came out a few weeks ago about a Quebec judge who deemed that yelling "fuck you" at a Quebec police officer is not obstruction of justice (the accused was drunk and being stopped randomly on the street and asked for id) or disrespectful because it "was not blasphemy."

I brought this up in another thread, but in Quebecois French all the vile curse words are about the church and would be considered blasphemy to speak them. Saying "medre" (shit in english) or "fuck" doesn't hold much weight since most English-language swears stem from body functions or sex, which the Quebecois don't find all that offencive. However, if you say "merdre tabernac!" (shitty tabernacle!) then that's getting pretty angry and offencive there. I used to know more Quebecois French curses, but they've all fallen out of my head.

Edit: Changed a few things since the use of religious curses does appear to be limited to Quebecois French and is not a pan-French language thing. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...120401286.html

How does anti-virus software work? When it's scanning a file, how does it know if said file is malicious or harmless?

Anybody own or have any experience with a kegerator? I'm moving into an apartment with three other guys and I was thinking of getting own with my signing bonus money. While it's a large upfront cost ($300-$400) I feel like over the next few years I'd get my money's worth through cheaper beers and enjoyment.

    Are they worth it?
Are they a hassle to use? (Cleaning, breaking, etc)

Going to assume that you are still in college, possibly undergrad? For all intensive purposes 18-24. It seems that you have interest in her and she feels the same way about you. The indirect comment about the child was probably anything but. More than likely it was a test. Which isn't really a bad thing in my opinion. She probably realized that she made a mistake (using this term loosely) and doesn't just want to get involved with someone for just a run. A child i a bit of baggage if you let it get to you. In no way am i saying don't do it because she has one. Some people just don't want that.

She seems like she has half a brain judging by the fact she's in school post high school. Just depends on what you're looking for in a woman. Long story short, if you don't mind the child then why not. If it's a big issue for you then don't. I've personally dated a woman with a child (around the same age and around the same time) it isn't so bad. Your parents might hate you though lol.

I had one in college, absolutely loved it. Was worth every penny. Just be prepared to drink a shit ton of beer and host parties. Fun times though. Beer per 12 ounces you'll save a ton but you might offset that with the new amounts of beer you'll consume. No they aren't too bad with clean up. Just cleaning up your apartment after the party will be.

Depends on how sophisticated it is; it can read the binary structures, or just look at version numbers/specific 'threads' of the file that are trademark of certain viruses.

Heuristic and "auto protect" systems work by monitoring your actively running processes and system behaviors to find things that are 'virus like', and/or go looking for specific patterns of files being loaded into memory and ordered sets of instructions being run to catch it in the act. If you turn heuristics up on your virus scanner high enough, you'll get "virus" warnings for all kinds of normal harmless shit, simply because of what it's looking at (but most of them won't actually let you turn it up this high, to prevent consumer panic).
