Random Question Thread.

What are some sites to get inexpensive international plane tickets from?

[Elvis]

http://www.expedia.com/ yea? Never used it myself tho..

[SephYuyX]

600$ for a week roundtrip there, not too bad I guess.

[SephYuyX]

Shameless bump, w/e, do what you will, but there are way too many dumb questions floating around recently.

Thank you for resurrecting this thread. This should be a good place to post questions without starting a new thread each time.

Haha nice, I was musing about general needing one of these, considering all the random topics that go nowhere in general...never thought to search for it.

So, I'm looking to sell my PSP, but I don't know which model it is. It's the very first one that came out and the easiest to hack because of the firmware(?), but I don't know if that even matters anymore. Was hoping you guys would know the model # and if the firmware gives it extra value still. Thanks in advance! :D

[Norellicus]

Model# I think you can find on a label under the battery compartment...

If it's one of the "fat" PSPs then it's a 1000 model. The slim ones are 2000.

You can tell your firmware version by checking your settings on your PSP.

Just wondering if anyone works in any management positions.

I'm filling out an application and for 'reason I left' my old job, is there a nicer way to say 'Incompetent Coworkers' or should I go ahead and use that?

[quannum]

disclaimer:i don't work in management.

don't burn your bridges, lie. make sure it's also not passive aggressive.

just be super vague: "i've decided to move on" "pursue oppurtunities elsewhere"

[Quixon]

Yeah.... other opportunities or "seeking new challenges" usually works well.

Holy Necro Bump.

[wyrmtung]

Yes, don't say anything negative about your former work place. More challenges or more opportunities usually work.

Anyone know any programs to manage music on ipods other than Itunes, it's starting to give me troubles.

[Draylo]

Wow big necro, I always wondered why there wasn't a thread like this though. Figured it was cause it would be flooded with too many questions that you can just google.

Used search, etc.

Can anybody point me to a source of video game themed, non-desktop, wallpaper?

I'm decorating my son's room and I thought it would pretty neat to put up a border with Super Mario Brothers as a border (like the paper you put halfway up the wall is all or part of a level, and is about a foot or so tall), then maybe painting the green hills from the SMWorld backgrounds. It doesn't have to be SMB related, but 99% of all googling is desktop wallpapers and I can't find what I'm looking for.

Does anyone know the name of this movie? It's going to be extremely vague, but the only line I can remember from the previews was:

"I will teach you how to kill, the only problem is how to turn it off."

A movie about some guy teaching a military group or something how to kill and one guy goes insane and the old teacher has to stop him basically. Can't think of the movie for the life of me.

Edit: Also, can we get this thread stickied? Lol.
