The first? God knows. But Capcom and their SF series have always had close ties w/ the FGC.

you know that feeling when you're driving down the road past a thing like a white picket fence and it just seems like it goes on forever kinda like a trance you just zone out on it, or something like rail road tracks repeating. is there a word that describes this? swear this is but can't remember it.

not specific to just driving, just moving in general

Hypnosis. Even objects that are stationary may appear to be moving while you are in motion, so you enter a trance and snap out of it when your focus breaks/bad driving skills.

Why do the icons on my desktop sometimes get reeeally tiny and all huddle up with each other? (not that I keep very many on there but one or two happen to be residing there temporarily). It's not even that that bugs me, but at the same time it does this, the icons in my start menu also get all scrunchy and if I run my cursor over them they start...multiplying....

    Like this:

Wrrryyyyy. And how can I stop it from doing that besides restarting?

Does anybody know how to get an upload to youtube without ridiculous black bars? I've tried googling it and seeing various guides but they don't work for me and its annoying. I use fraps to record and Windows live movie maker to make the video.

Youtube's player is 16:9. Any other aspect ratio will have pillarboxes.

Aspect ratio is set to 16:9 in WLMM and that doesn't change anything.

What resolution do you run ffxi at? After encoding it, is it still at the same resolution before uploading to youtube?

    Youtube says it is 1920x1080...

Yes and my game resolution is 1280x1024 but it doesn't matter if I use that, still the same problem.

Well that's why. Stretching from 5:4 to 16:9 would look horrible. You don't want it to do that.

Either run ffxi at a 16:9 aspect ratio, or don't change anything.

My screen resolution is 1280x1024, so I set ffxi to the same thing. What resolution is necessary to get the bars off then? 1280x720?

yeah, which you could then throw into Movie Maker as 720p. Just don't use that same profile as before that set it to 1920x1080 because while it would fit without bars, the file size would be considerably bigger and all it would do is stretch the video to fit. Record and saved at 1280x720 should look really good.

Ok changing the resolution to 1280x720 turns my game into half screen almost and odd looking lol. Here is what it looks like on youtube:

So it does solve the bar problem.... but makes my game look ugly lol, I guess I need a widescreen monitor. I did try another suggestion with the tags and it works on *some* of my videos, others still have bars... I think its from messing with WLMM and the different profiles such as the 1920x1080. I just gotta see what profile I used for this:

because the tags worked perfectly. How do I check what settings that was uploaded with?

Edit: Apparently putting it in full screen theres still bars, but I looked at other vids that didn't have bars in normal mode and they have them in full screen, do people care about those? lol
